"Campsite close to the city - Simple and uncomplicated reservation. Arriving at the pitch and registering later worked without any problems. Nice boss and staff. During our stay the ladies showers broke down as only cold water was available. Likewise at 3 sinks. The facility is getting on in years. We heard that everything will be renovated next year.

"Couple with dog - The campsite is in a very nice location. You're surrounded by greenery but still right in the city. The operators are very friendly and helpful. There is a bread roll service and a lovely beer garden with delicious food.

"Great place on the Jagst - The location is ideal. Short walk to the city center of Ellwangen. (Interesting stores, good restaurants) The site itself was beautifully green now in October with old trees very charming on the Jagst and everything was spacious and clean. We had rented a camping pod. It was very tidy and could be heated by a modern ceiling/surface heating system if required. But that wasn't necessary. The Stüble offers a small menu with homemade dishes. Very tasty and good. I had the Maultaschen with homemade potato salad - from the chef himself. I found everything good and clean. However, the planned renovation of the sanitary facilities/building is urgently needed. Good that this will be done soon. But you can recommend the place unreservedly because of the cleanliness. It's just still a bit old. Please put a few more hooks in the pods... Fun fact. The dustpan hangs clearly visible on the only hook... ; -) Swabian thoroughness. likeable

"Great campsite - Very nice campsite, in a quiet location and not far to walk to the town of Ellwangen with its beautiful quaint town center. With bread roll service, a beer garden with good food. Overall highly recommended, we will be back.

"Class - We stayed at the campsite for a few days in July 2022. Simple and small campsite with very nice operators. The sanitary facilities are older, but very clean. The pitches offer plenty of space, so everything is very relaxed. There are beautiful cycle paths and hiking trails around the site. All in all, highly recommended.

"Not again - We were there for four days. We had booked our preferred pitch three weeks in advance. One or two weeks before our arrival, we phoned again to check whether we would get the place we wanted. This was confirmed. But when we arrived, we were told that there was "no way" we would get the place we had booked and been promised because a guest was due to arrive the following day. We were allocated a rather cramped pitch in the far corner of the campsite. We were not given a reason why our booked pitch had been allocated to someone else. Even when we asked again on departure, no reason could be given. In response to our criticism of this and the criticism of the allocated pitch, the campsite operator became quite angry. We will never come back.

Dear guests, in the course of the State Garden Show Ellwangen 2026, the campsite will be completely redesigned, therefore the campsite will be completely closed until the beginning of 2025. We look forward to being there for you again in …2025! This campsite offers a quiet and relaxing stay due to its great location in the middle of nature and directly on the river Jagst. At the same time the site is very close to the idyllic town of Ellwangen (Jagst), which offers many sights and invites you to spend a pleasant evening in the town centre. In this beautiful environment you will find countless quiet lakes and small rivers, which invite you not only to swim, but also to go hiking, cycling or just to relax.
