"Winter camping Berau - Also very suitable for dog owners. There is a large fenced-in dog meadow and dog beach. There is a great playground for children.

"Vacation in a dreamlike environment - My wife, our dog Max and I stayed at the campsite for 5 days. The first impression was very good, the reception is new and we were given a nice welcome. It was also easy to rebook the pitch. However, the place seems very restless, as the vehicles are parked on designated pitches, but here they are criss-crossed. There are 2 sanitary facilities, one of which is being renovated this year. The sanitary facilities are fine, but unfortunately there is a lack of cleaning. Some of the washbasins had not been cleaned for several days. The staff we met at the resort were unable to greet us, including the manager of the resort, with the exception of the staff at reception or in the adjacent Hias restaurant. We ate in the restaurant once, the pizza was fine, the tiramisu very tasty. Now we come to the absolute plus point of the campsite, the area. A wonderful path leads along the lake to Strobl. The hiking and cycling possibilities are almost endless. We were lucky with the weather, so the conclusion is positive. With the new sanitary facilities, perhaps the cleanliness will also improve.

"Campsite does not deserve 4 stars in any way - The caravans and motorhomes are packed together like in a sardine tin, making privacy impossible. In some places you can't even park your car. In the sanitary facilities (men) there are showers and toilets in one room, so it happens that you can smell the stench when showering (unworthy of a 4 star place). The way to the places is so narrow that you can only get there with a lot of effort with a caravan. I had the impression that they wanted to use the space to the last millimeter. Once and never again

"Great location.... - We spent a very nice vacation on a well-kept site in a beautiful area. When the weather is nice, the lake is simply a dream... Beautiful hiking trails which start directly from the campsite (Panoramaweg to Strobl) and St. Wolfgang is within walking distance. The pitches as well as the access to the site are quite narrow, you should know how much space you need. The gastronomy was TOP from our point of view.... If we visit Lake Wolfgang again, this campsite will definitely be on our list again.....

"Beautiful place to relax - The location of this campsite is just great, right on the lake and well maintained, but it is a bit cramped. At Easter time at the end of March, the campsite was quite full with lots of families with children, for whom there was a surprise on Easter Sunday. This naturally made it a bit lively and noisy, but everything was within reason. There are different sizes of pitches with a gravel surface. We had 90m2, so the caravan with awning and car just about fitted on it. Some of the paths are poorly developed. There are two restaurants on site which are recommended. The staff are courteous and helpful. There is a small store with the essentials and a daily selection of fresh bread rolls. There are two sanitary facilities, which could have been cleaner despite the holidays. At peak times you often had to queue and wait as everything was full. For dogs there is a small beach by the lake and a meadow for playing off-leash. There are numerous hiking possibilities, we recommend the circular route around the Bürgelstein. From the jetty you have a fabulous view of the mountain panorama, the lake and the towns of St. Wolfgang and Strobl. Conclusion: Actually a lovely campsite, just too expensive at peak times.

On our comfort 4* campsite, which is located in a private bay directly at the Wolfgangsee, you’ll find our spacious pitches (up to 100m ²) in the middle of a cozy environment with meadows and shady trees. The pitches …with electricity, water and partial sewage connection, cable TV and fast free Wi-Fi provide comfort and the perfect feel-good atmosphere. The varied offer includes modern equipped sanitary facilities with the highest hygene standards, a barrier-free area, private bathrooms, its own gym, sauna, massage room, and a cozy restaurant with excellent cuisine and a pizzeria. In our shop with its own bakery, you’ll find daily fresh pastries, regional specialties, mixed goods and camping supplies. Kayaks, SUP boards and MY ESEL e-bikes, Vespas and electric scooters are perfect for exploring the area around Lake Wolfgang. We offer our younger guests a varied children's program in July & August. New since summer 2020 is a big adventure playground!
