"Unfortunately very natural - It's actually quite nice, but the ratio just isn't right. The garbage should be disposed of externally. The water is cold and the electricity installation is very outdated. Unfortunately not for us again.

"Lots of nature and little commitment - We stayed at this place about 20 years ago. Nothing has been renewed or renovated since then (and it wasn't that great back then). The sanitary facilities are a joke: 3 unkempt toilets with porta-potty charm and two! showers for the entire CP. There is also a toilet at the end of the campsite, but it was supposedly closed for technical reasons. All this splendor for a whopping 320 crowns per day! There really is better!

"Camping in nature in the archipelago - Of all the campsites I know of on our trip through southern Sweden, this is the closest you can get to nature. You have a base for excursions in the middle of the archipelago. However, you can't see much of the archipelago by car. You would have to go by boat (boat tour is offered + canoe and kayak rental, jetties with moorings are available, but ask in advance). Owner friendly and helpful, he and she speak German. Free choice of pitches on the natural shore or on the meadow. Shower without annoying card or coin-operated machine, a big plus! That's why the price is ok, even if others complain about it: 390 kr with electricity for us with caravan, car, 2 adults, two children up to 15 years. The site is also beautiful with reeds, rocks, rural surroundings, a springboard from the rocks, swimming opportunities and most of the natural idyll that I imagined Sweden to be. In summer there are also small band concerts on the archipelago shore, but we came later.

Profile

Wir haben 42 Plätze mit Strom für Wohnwagen, Wohnmobile und Zelte anzubieten, außerdem gibt es 42 weitere Plätze ohne Strom. Wir bieten Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten in herrlicher Natur, zwischen der Ostseebucht und einem schützenden Eichenwald, mitten im Naturschutzgebiet. Unsere Gäste entscheiden selbst, …welcher Platz während des Besuchs gewählt wird: in der Nähe von Serviceeinrichtungen, Badestelle, direkt am Meer, im Schatten der Bäume oder lieber etwas abgelegener. Es gibt auch ein kleines Dorf ganz in unmittelbarer Nähe des Platzes. Hier gibt es einen Laden mit gutem Sortiment, ein Hafencafé und ein Restaurant - gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Eine Tasse Tee oder Kaffee, Pizza, Baguette und Eis kann auch an der Rezeption bestellt werden. Der Campingplatz verfügt über eigenen Spielplatz und Badestelle. Es gibt einen Sandstrand, ein 2-Meter-Sprungbrett und Felsen, um den "eigenen Platz" am Strand zu finden. Das Beste in Blankaholm wollen wir keinem vorenthalten: die Ostsee - täglich bieten wir Schärenfahrten an. Kanu- Kajak- und Bootsverleih ist möglich. Möchtet ihr euer eigenes Boot mitnehmen, dann haben wir Platz in unserem Camping-Hafen. Auf unserer Campingbühne laden wir in der Hochsaison zu unterschiedichen Vorstellungen (www.blankaholmscamping.se/aktiviteter.html)ein und in den Abendstunden öffnen wir die holzgeheizte Sauna. Gleich neben dem Campingplatz befindet sich der Majkaseberg mit toller Aussicht über die Schären. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich auch der Wald mit einem schönen Naturpfad unter den Eichen, der für diejenigen geeignet ist, die die Umgebung etwas näher erkunden möchten.

Der Campingplatz liegt direkt zwischen Oskashamn (südlich vom Campingplatz, 40 km) und Västervik (nördlich vom Campingplatz, 32 km). Wenn man die E22 verläßt und dem Weg nach Blankaholm folgt, biegt man nach 1,5 km rechts ab nachdem die Ostsee sichtbar …geworden ist. Dies ist der dichteste Campingplatz von der E22, der an der Ostsee liegt ohne den Fahrgeräuschen der Autobahn ausgesetzt zu sein. ÖFFENTLICHE VERKEHRSMITTEL: Bei der E22 gehen in der Regel stündlich die Busse (38 oder 160) in beide Richtungen.
