"Rating Brinkmann's Hof - We have been visiting this camping and weekend park Brinkmann's Hof regularly 3-4 times a year for several years, as we have friends there. Now the name "park" is misleading, you imagine a park differently and it has little to do with camping, just a small meadow, without sanitary facilities, which are a little further away. The wash house, well, it's okay. The restaurant has been closed since the end of 2023. All in all, pretty outdated. A few dirty corners, building work in progress and huts patched together with waste materials - not a good look for the site. The vacation home owners are becoming increasingly dissatisfied and frustrated. The topic comes up in every conversation with my friends. This is said to be due to the change in management behavior. Years ago, the site was run fairly harmoniously by the "old" Brinkmann patron, but since the daughter took over, a cold wind has been blowing. Communication of any kind ends predominantly with far-fetched counter-arguments by the daughter, other opinions are supposedly not accepted. But as if that wasn't enough, the daughter's boyfriend also joined in. Both live in their own little bubble and seem unworldly. The homeowners are kept in check with gagging agreements, according to the motto: if you don't like it, then leave. The homeowners have become obsessively dependent, creating oppressive feelings and causing worries for one or the other, as they are at the mercy of the site operator for better or worse. This leads to restrictive administrative violations and thus to negative energy, the opposite of generous, tolerant and reasonable. Homeowners use words such as: not fit for purpose, petty, arbitrary, overbearing, primitive encroachment, bullying, patronizing, malicious, resentful, hostile, unable to act according to objective judgment, lacking critical faculties

Brinkmann´s Hof ist ein familiärer Wochenendpark am Rande der Glockenstadt Gescher. Hier findet man Erholung vom Alltag. Es erwarten Sie der weiträumige Campingplatz, der fantasievolle Spielplatz, das gemütliches Restaurant und verschiedenste Menschen. Der große Campingplatz bietet sowohl für Zelte, als …auch für Wohnmobile immer ein passendes Plätzchen an. Rund 240 Dauercamper entspannen hier regelmäßig in Ihren eigenen Holzhäuschen. Ganz ohne Autolärm oder sonstige Belästigungen. Die Familie Brinkmann legt dabei viel Wert auf den Erhalt des Campingplatz-Feelings: Hecken nicht zu Mauern werden lassen, Raum sowohl für Ruhe, als auch Spaß schaffen und Kontakte fürs Leben knüpfen. Hier wird gemein zu gemeinsam. Bei Hunger und Durst hilft das anliegende Restaurant aus. Dort genießt man eine gut-bürgerliche Küche, zu guten Preisen. Auch ein gemütliches Bier gibt es hier. Ob draußen im Biergarten oder innen an der Theke, bleibt jedem selbst überlassen. Radfahrer können hier ihre Energie aufladen und eine kleine Pause einlegen, bis es weiter geht. Ein naheliegendes Ziel könnte das Berkeltal mit seinen Natur- und Angelteichen sein. Dieses schließt sich direkt an den Wochenendpark an. Das Gescheraner Freibad ist ebenfalls nur einige Minuten entfernt und auch die Innenstadt ist gut zu erreichen.

Anfahrt von der Autobahnabfahrt der A31 Gescher/Coesfeld (Ausfahrt 33) aus: aus Richtung Emden, links auf die B525 abbiegen und dann an der Kreuzung, ebenfalls links abbiegen. aus Richtung Oberhausen geradeaus über die Kreuzung. Dann auf Tungerloh-Capellen/K30 1,6 km geradeaus fahren. …Am Ende der Straße links abbiegen, (also auf Tungerloh-Capellen bleiben, später Holtwicker Damm) und weitere 3,5 km geradeaus fahren. Dann rechts auf den Ahauser Damm abbiegen und nach 1,1 km vor dem 2. Waldstück rechts auf Harwick abbiegen, den Schildern folgen (leichte Linkskurve, 370m) zu unserem Hof.
