"Good location on the waterfront and within walking distance of the city - The location is good, right on the water and within walking distance of the town. The place itself does not look very well maintained. Toilets were constantly dirty, garbage cans not labeled etc. For one night ok, but does not have to be more. Pitches on the water have to lay their power cable across the gravel road and across the back of the pitch. Long cable runs. But you can borrow a cable protector from reception free of charge.

"Top location - Wonderful place with unsightly and strong-smelling sanitary facilities. But firstly, campers shouldn't be so sensitive and secondly, those who come all the way to Ullapool don't do it because of the sanis Tip: Ullapool has a nice little museum about the history of the town.

"welcoming - The campsite has a large number of pitches, some with electricity and some without. The most popular pitches are of course those right by the water - it's worth arriving early! However, the sanitary facilities are terribly old and not comfortable. It's cold in them! They urgently need to be renovated!

"In the middle of the city and yet by the sea. good place for an overnight stay - Simple place at the end of the harbor. View of the incoming ships. Shopping center within walking distance. Good restaurants and pubs just around the corner.

"Campsite with access to the city - The campsite is located right on the edge of the town, not far from the stores and the ferry terminal to the Isle of Lewis (Stornoway). The pitches are divided into two levels. On the lower level you are right on the beach. On the upper level you have a good view over the bay. You can choose your own pitch. The sanitary facilities are a little older but in good condition. Payment can be made directly to the groundsman or, if he is not available, there is a letterbox where you can put your money. To get into town, you just have to go out to the entrance. There you will find the first stores. There are a few restaurants and cafés on the promenade. In the upper part of the town there is a museum about the history of the town and its surroundings.

"For insensitive natures - If you want to spend some time looking around the beautiful little town of Ullapool and perhaps go out for a meal in the evening, this site is highly recommended. It is located right on the edge of the town and also directly on a beautiful bay where the ferry to the Hebridean island of Lewis sails. Almost all the pitches have a corresponding view; the site as a whole is clean and well-kept. However, this does not apply to the sanitary facilities, which are estimated to be from the 70s or 80s; they were all in a deplorable, extremely unkempt and dirty condition.
