"Fine camping - Campground for couples, seniors and small children. Beautifully situated on the lake. Restaurant a la carte and pizzeria good value for money.

"Good impression, friendly reception - The staff are very friendly. We felt very comfortable. The campsite is right on Lake Maggiore. However, the town of Dormelletto has little to offer (the neighboring town of Arona seems to have a lot more to offer).

"Acceptable for one night - Very noisy CP. Aircraft noise early in the morning. Power connections already overloaded and locked because of the coffee machine. Constant search for groundsman. Sanitary building was dark and run down. Beautiful pitches right on the lake.

" - Very suitable when the other places in the area are full, you don't need a reservation. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has plenty of choice and is good value for money. That was the positive :-) When you get there, you think WOW because of the entrance, see pictures. You can choose a place in the back area, in the front there are only permanent campers, many Dutch, the announcements are first in Dutch and then in Italian :) Pitches are not always level, the rest periods are not observed and there are no consequences, loud until 1h at night no problem.... The sanitary facilities are from Italy in the 60s, but are cleaned regularly. No market for food on site, nearest supermarket 1.5 km away. You hear less from the train and road, aircraft noise enormous. Recommended as a 1-day stopover when passing through, otherwise rather not, unfortunately.

" - very good welcome,disappointed with the store not open in season,pool closed for cleaning at 6pm,cap compulsory.but the man at the pool didn't tell us where to buy them,after a long search he sold them to us,but too late,pool closed,he still cashed in the 2 caps.In the evening, a special evening for the 60's, with an orchestra...We didn't eat at the campsite, we wanted a bit of peace and quiet. On our way back, we decided to have a drink, but it wasn't possible, we were blocking the way, but they didn't offer us another table... So it's certain that we won't be returning to this campsite, which looks good on the outside, but is not at all friendly.
