"Idyllic, beautiful and quiet - A super campsite. For me one of the best on Lake Garda. Limone Sul Garda can be reached on foot and with a baby carriage and is situated directly on the lake where you can enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. There is a small restaurant with a grocery store where you can get everything you need. Access with a caravan is not easy (quite narrow), you have to be able to maneuver a little.

"Exemplary course management in Corona times! - We were on the site for a week in the Corona summer of 2020 at the end of June - there was no travel warning for Lombardy at the time; the reservation by e-mail and telephone was very well organized: we wanted one of the coveted campsites right on the lake shore. It worked. Only the pitches directly on the lake and a few above it were occupied, a level of occupancy usually only seen in the depths of the night season. The staff were very careful and always wore face masks, even the gardener who cleaned the lake shore in the morning! For the small market you occasionally had to wait a few minutes because only one customer was allowed in, but - hey: it's vacation! The toilets were clean, there was hand sanitizer at the entrance and even there all campers adhered to the obligation to wear a face mask. Thank you Camping Nanzel for a great camping week in extraordinary times! A word about Limone and the other tourists on the lake: it was eerily empty during the week, restaurants, ice cream parlors, souvenir stores, the otherwise permanently crowded lakeside road, the hiking trails, the cycle paths ... empty. Only a few locals came on the weekend. For us, one of the most beautiful stays ever - whether (and how) the tourist infrastructure will digest this summer remains to be seen.

"Beautiful campsite right on the lake - Beautiful, small and manageable campsite with a phenomenal view of the lake and very friendly staff. (Almost) everything is available in the store at affordable prices so you don't necessarily have to leave the campsite (to go shopping). Limone is easy to reach on foot and yet you are away from the tourist hustle and bustle. A small disadvantage is the proximity to the street, which is also illuminated throughout the night. We would come again!

"No need to visit again - The site is idyllically situated on a slope and is laid out in terraces. We were there with our dog during the main tourist season. Parking spaces were too narrow and too few, the plots themselves were too small for a slightly larger tent. Even walking between two tents (which you had to do to get to the parking spaces, sanitary facilities etc.) was not possible as it was too narrow. The beach was about 3 meters wide at its widest point and so stony that you had to be afraid of breaking your legs even with bathing shoes if you wanted to get into the water. But the worst thing was the sanitary facilities. Mouldy walls and ceilings in the showers and so narrow that it was impossible to dry off or change in them, the fittings were wobbly. The toilets really only clean in the morning shortly after 6am. No toilet paper or soap available. On a positive note, the kiosk had everything we needed at a fair price. The homemade ice cream was also very tasty.

"Super time - Super clean, tidy, nice and courteous staff, great view of the lake and with the option to move during your stay if you are not 100% satisfied. Private access to the lake and swimming facilities. The café offers espresso for 1.20€ and ice cream for 1.50€. This is very good for this region. The laundry room has a washing machine, ironing area, changing corner (accessible for both sexes!), large washing-up area, toilets and showers. There are no crowds on the site and you can relax in peace and quiet. Thank you for a great time. We will be back. We will definitely be back!
