"Simple place in a great location - Note for cyclists: The homepage rightly states that the direct route up the mountain from Trieste is very difficult to cycle (even for advanced cyclists). Contrary to what is stated there, I would recommend not following the main road, but taking the Strada dei friuli from Trieste to Prosecco (pleasant gradient, great views). From Prosecco, either take the Strada Napoleonica / Vicentina (gravel; amazing views) or the normal road.

"Chaotic place with great charm - Ideal starting point for culture and sightseeing in Trieste without a car. The exceptional friendliness, not to say cordiality, of the restaurant owners should be emphasized.
