"Beautiful place - We would love to go to this campsite again and again. Very nice staff and everything was very uncomplicated. The site is on a slope. It has a pool. The town is within walking distance and is super beautiful and there are many viewpoints.

"Centrally located, nice, simple... - Terraced pitch in a central location in Chianti. Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra can all be reached in about 30 minutes by car. Sanitary facilities: Very basic, but reasonably clean. Small pool, nice to cool off after the day's excursions. Pitches: Rather small (no problem in low season), panoramic view only from the pitches on the eastern edge. Very quiet, nice and shady in the heat. Catering: Bread roll service, small bar, restaurants nearby.

"Good for a city tour of Siena - Terraced campsite with plenty of space, due to the hillside location it goes up and down a lot but the pitches are nice and flat.

"Ideal location between Florence and Siena - I can only confirm the last three positive reviews. Great location, friendly staff, clean site, restaurant next door highly recommended (beware the pizza is rectangular and huge but wafer-thin!). I can only recommend this place for a vacation in the Chianti region.

"Beautiful, family campsite in a great location - The campsite is on a slope and if you have a pitch on the edge, you have a wonderful view. The location is perfect for excursions to Siena or Florence. The operators are young and really nice. Everything is totally uncomplicated and you feel at home from the very first moment. The small bar is nothing special, but is also very reasonably priced. The sanitary facilities were always clean and the generally very natural site was also very clean. There is a great restaurant right next door with a beautiful view. There are also two nice restaurants in the village, which is within easy walking distance and has a fantastic view. The village is very nice overall, albeit small. By the way, you can order bread and croissants until 7pm the day before. The bread is nothing special, but we found the croissants very tasty. Again, the price is absolutely fine. In summary, we felt totally at home and of the four campsites we stayed at during our vacation, this was by far the nicest and yet the cheapest. Many thanks to the operators for this wonderful time!

"Cozy family campsite in Tuscany - Cozy family campsite in Tuscany, good starting point if you are mobile, great restaurant next door, sanitary facilities ok but very cold in low season, the village is worth a visit!

Il Camping Semifonte si trova nel cuore della Toscana, immerso nel pittoresco paesaggio del Chianti. Ad ogni tramonto lo Sciliar, con il suo cambio di colori, rilascia un'atmosfera rilassante ed intima, apprezzabile da alcuni punti nel centro di Barberino val …d'Elsa. La vicinanza a Firenze, a Siena, a San Gimignano, a Certaldo, a Poggibonsi e a Colle di Val d'Elsa non lascia tempo per annoiarsi e regala tantissime sfaccettature dellan nostra amata Toscana. Tutto ciò può essere raggiunto facilmente facendo massimo 40 minuti di macchina oppure di Bus. All'interno del campeggio potrai goderti un soggiorno di pieno relax e benessere, potrendo usufruire di una grande piscina, di un bar, con zona barbecue, di una zona per far giocare i vosti piccoli. Durante il soggiorno saranno comunicate eventuali serate a tema, wine tasting e molto altro.

Ecco le indicazioni per raggiungere facilmente il camping in automobile: DA NORD: Per raggiungere il campeggio dall’autostrada A1, uscire al casello di Firenze Certosa e proseguire in direzione Siena imboccando il raccordo autostradale fino all’uscita di Poggibonsi Nord. DA SUD: …Prendere l’uscita dell’autostrada A1 VALDICHIANA BETTOLLE. Proseguire in direzione Rapolano Terme – Siena – Foiano della Chiana e continuare su SS 327. In prossimità di Taverne d’Arbia svoltare a destra sulla: E 78 in direzione Tangenziale Sud – Firenze – Grosseto. Seguire poi le indicazioni per Firenze imboccando la Superstrada Firenze – Siena fino all’uscita di Poggibonsi Nord. Dall’uscita di Poggibonsi Nord svoltare a destra in direzione di Barberino Val d’Elsa fino a raggiungere il paese dopo circa 7 km. Attraversare il centro abitato e svoltare a destra dopo aver superato una pineta, anch’essa sulla destra. Oltrepassare il campo sportivo e dopo pochi metri sarete al campeggio.
