"Camping Spartacus - We were satisfied despite minor shortcomings and will be back again this year for Easter.

"Nice place with parked cars and almost cold shower - Stayed here for one night in April and visited Vesuvius and of course Pompei. Campsite is quite nice with small shady spots with orange trees. More than half of the site was occupied by parked cars. Youth groups also stay here in the mobile homes. The shower had a maximum temperature of 30 degrees and that was far too cold in April (13 degrees). There was also no toilet paper or soap. Only cold water for washing up. We went to Vesuvius by car to the top, where you could park next to the road. For the entrance fee and the 30 minute walk you pay 10€/person. Car free of charge. Pompei was then not as cheap - but bigger than we thought. We had 4 hours and couldn't see everything.

"Top for Pompei - Situated directly opposite the entrance to Pompei, the pitches are perfectly adequate as you only pass by briefly to visit Pompei. I wouldn't stay here for 2 weeks either.sanitary facilities are perfectly fine for southern Italy.FREE WIFI.dogs allowed.pool.earn money on part of the site as a day parking lot.therefore a lot of noise on the site very early in the morning.

"Ideal for visiting Pompeii - My whole family couldn't understand the sometimes very bad reviews. Yes, the pitches are small - but sufficient, everyone only comes here for a short time. We were allowed to park our car on another pitch next door at no extra charge. There are hot showers and WiFi for free and the sanitary facilities are no worse than anywhere else in southern Italy. I think it's normal for a campsite in such a central location to have a certain noise level. But no annoying animation in the evening :)

"For Pompeii and beyond - Neat campground with facilities in place. Excellent for visiting Pompeii excavations which are a 5 minute walk away. Also in a moment's walk to the train station for Naples (duration 40 min-every 30 minutes or so), Herculaneum, Sorrento... Other comments mention noisy camping, but I disagree; sure it is close to roads and railroad, but nothing dramatic.

"Great location for Pompei - Highway exit, excavations Pompei, VERY friendly and helpful staff loud but normal for a campsite miten in the city

Our campsite is the longest established in Pompei,set in an ancient orchard lose to the entrance of the ruins and foothills of Vesuvio.The site is ideal for relaxation with good transport links for the local tourist attractions:Sorrento,Capri,Ercolano,Vesuvio,Amalfi,Napoli,Ischia ecc...Facilities include:Minimarket,internet access(connection …WI-FI from 3 days are free),bungalow,bar,pizzeria,new toilet,shower facilities,camper service,washing machines.We look forward ti your visit and to sharing the beauty of our local region.We are able to provide information and organise trips,airport,transfers,car and motorcycle rental.Shaded grass camping spaces,separated by madges and shrubs.All spaces have drinking water and eletricity.Pets are welcome.Open all year.
