"3 beautiful days - We stayed here for three days to attend a few appointments. The site is beautifully situated by the Schützenweiher pond. The restaurant at the Dancing Hall is reasonably priced, but not for gourmets. Nevertheless, we recommend it for a snack in between or an ice cream. Very uncomplicated and friendly site operators. For dog owners very short distances to the pond and the nearby forest. W Lan connection was also good, so you could work in peace. The infrastructure on the site is good and the sanitary facilities are clean. Most guests use the site as a transit site for an overnight stay. In terms of value for money, I also found the site to be okay (33 CHF for caravan, 1 adult, 1 dog). Thumbs and paws up.

"Cozy little campsite - A beautifully situated campsite. Not far from the city center of Winterthur and yet in the countryside. The owner family is very friendly. The site, including the sanitary facilities, is very well maintained! The campsite does not have a restaurant or store. However, the nearest restaurant is less than 50 meters away. There is a large shopping center about 300-400 meters away.

"Gepflegter Campingplatz - Wir sind während unseres Zürich-Trips auf diesem gepflegten, liebevoll geführten Platz eingekehrt. Die Stellplätze sind ausreichend groß, man kommt einfach und schnell mit dem ÖPN nach Zürich rein. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sauber, jedoch ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Wir waren mit dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und dem Aufenthalt allgemein zufrieden.

"There is nothing better... - ...as a long-term camper (I live and stay at the camp), I'd like to give you some feedback. There really is nothing better than BEING at the Schützenweiher campsite. It was and is the right decision to be here. Thanks to Caroline, Basil, Edith and Markus ;-)

Unser Campingplatz liegt am schönen Schützenweiher am Rande der Stadt Winterthur. Hier geniessen Sie eine gepflegte Anlage, Wiesen, Bäume, Sträucher und natürlich die herrlichen Seerosen im Teich. Gepflegte, ebene Anlage. Gut besonnt mit Schattenflächen, 50 Stellplätze für Wohnmobile & Wohnwagen, …30 Stellplätze für Zelte, Warmwasserduschen, Chemietoilletten- & Wohnmobilentleerstation, Elektroanschlüsse, Waschmaschine/Tumbler, Grillplatz, Spielplatz. Direkt am Weiher befindet sich ein Selbstbedienungsrestaurant, daneben eine Minigolfanlage. Das Einkaufszentrum Rosenberg erreichen Sie in wenigen Schritten. Das Stadtzentrum ist mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln schnell und einfach erreichbar. Zudem wartet die nähere Umgebung mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten auf. Unmittelbare Umgebung: Selbstbedienungsrestaurant am Weiher mit Tanz am Fr/Sa, Minigolfanlage, 24 Stunden Tankstelle mit Einkaufsmöglichkeit, Einkaufszentrum mit div. Läden und Restaurants, Busstation und Möglichkeit zum Angeln am Weiher. Der Campingplatz ist ganzjährig geöffnet.
