"versatile space - Well-maintained pitch in a great location by the lake and on many cycle paths. Close to town and yet quiet. The water on the individual pitches is NOT drinking water, you have to get it from the wash house.

"Very nice campsite - While looking for a campsite on the Traisen cycle path, we came across Camping am See. It turned out to be the ideal starting point for our cycle tours along the Traisen. The center of St. Pölten can be reached by bike in just a few minutes. The campsite has many permanent campers, but also has plenty of spacious pitches for short breaks. The staff were super friendly from the reservation inquiry through to processing and made every effort to fulfill our wishes. The lake right next to it has very good water quality and invites you to jump right in. The showers and toilets were very clean - the only thing that could be improved was the smell (perhaps airing the room more often). Conclusion: Super nice weekend at Camping am See. We will remember you and will definitely come back if we need to!

"Very nice place! - Very nice place with its own lake access, friendly helpful operators who can give lots of tips and information. Quiet location, yet quickly accessible from the highway. Great location for excursions to Vienna and the Wachau, Melk Abbey and Göttweig. Good alternative to the Viennese campsites, by bus (stops directly in front of the campsite) or by bike in 15 minutes to the main station, in 27 minutes by express train to Vienna main station, from there it is four stops by subway to the city center. Owner also has tips for restaurants and wine taverns (Heurigen). We will definitely be back!

Our in the year 2009 newly arranged campsite is an 75 ha large nature paradise in the north of St.Pölten right at the Ratzersdorfer lake. Beside the beach area with a well-kept lawn for the guests at the east shore …there is also a public range for nudists on the opposite seaside available. The new, for disabled people accessible sanitary building of the campsite is up to modern standards and the requirements of our guests. The rinsing area finds its place here and there are washing machines and laundry dryers at the disposal, too. In addition to that, the disposal of your chemistry toilet’s waste is arranged as well. And brandnew we offer "Fox and Hen" - take a look to our Site!
