"No drinking water / Price/performance ratio is not right at all - We had booked a pitch for 2 days, which we were able to change to a later date without any problems. The operator gave us a very warm welcome and personally took us to the pitch. It was right at the entrance at the top of two streets running around the site and had the charm of a traffic island with a lot of pedestrian traffic. The sanitary facilities are old but clean. The water tap does not supply drinking water, which is not available anywhere else. As we didn't go there to wash the car, we didn't use the water. There was no indication of the drinking water situation either on the website or in the booking confirmation. The pitch was shown as having electricity and water when we booked, which was also reflected in the price. The price-performance ratio is not right here at all. For us, this is an absolute no-go, no matter how nice the operator is. We had booked for 2 days but left after just one day due to the circumstances. We will definitely not be back.

"Recycle center - Very friendly lady (the dark haired one at least !) at the reception. Maybe okay as a transit campground, however a longer stay is not recommended, unless you like highway noise. Lake for swimming is fine, with nice grass beach , with/without shade. If you have waste sorting as a hobby, then this is the place to be: as many as 11-12 categories ! It seems that native campers have an advantage when it comes to the ability to BBQ: I have seen several, while there were posters everywhere that no type of grill was allowed.

"Drinking water supply - Although there are water taps on the site, these are marked as drinking water. When we asked where we could get water for cooking or brushing our teeth, we were told to buy bottles of mineral water from them!!!!!!

Im Allgäu, genauer in Buxheim, befindet sich der Platz "Camping am See international". Das eigene Strandbad am See verfügt über eine Liegewiese und ermöglicht Badespaß in idyllischer Landschaft. Der renovierte Sanitärbereich ist mit Duschkabinen, Toiletten, Waschkabinen, Babypflegekabine und Fußwaschbecken ausgestattet. …Ein Wasch-, Spül- und Trockenraum ist ebenfalls eingerichtet. Unmittelbar an den Campingplatz grenzt das Wirtshaus "Wiesenbräu" und verwöhnt die Gäste in rustikalem Ambiente mit bayerischen Spezialitäten. Ein Biergarten mit Seeblick ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Für die kleinen Gäste bietet ein Kinderspielplatz mit Schaukel, Rutsche und Klettergerüst für Abwechslung. Für junge Leute bietet ein Jugendraum mit TV eine Treff- und Aufenthaltsmöglichkeit. Zum geselligen Beisammensein lädt der hauseigene Grillplatz direkt am See ein. In unmittelbarer Nähe zum Campinggelände gibt es vielzählige Möglichkeiten seine Freizeit aktiv und abwechslungsreich zu gestalten. Schnell zu erreichen ist ein Minigolfplatz, Bootsverleih, Skateplatz, Reitstall, Westernreitstall und ein Golfplatz. Für Wanderer, Radfahrer als auch Jogger und Nordic-Walker bieten sich einige Wege rund um den See an.
