"Very nice place for an overnight stay and city tour - Nice place for an overnight stay or sightseeing in Saarbrücken or to the Völklinger Hütte. Despite the proximity to the highway, it is very quiet in the evening and at night. The site consists largely of non-parceled meadow areas for vacation campers. Everything looks very well looked after and well maintained. The washrooms are clean and the showers in particular are very spacious. There is a small restaurant on the site, which serves drinks and a (very tasty) selection of pizzas and tarte flambée. As the staff are also extremely friendly and welcoming, this is a real recommendation, especially in view of the low accommodation prices.

"Staying with friends - Here, camping is still camping. No big frills, but who needs them? Snack bar, nice operators, quiet and clean sanitary facilities. We will certainly be back.

"Loud and not particularly clean - We received a nice welcome on arrival, but the pitch was not a pitch, just a meadow! There was no privacy from other campers, our later neighbors were a family with three children in an ancient VW bus that stank of gasoline and oil, the children were loud and unpleasant, even from six o'clock in the morning! I have nothing against children, but if the meadow is big enough, you can put such campers somewhere else! Unfortunately, the other places are not good either: shower building from the late 60s - it didn't smell very good either! So this site will never see us again!

"Super nice people always friendly - We came across this campsite in 2017 due to a flat tire, which led to a friendship between 2 camping clubs. We therefore visit the Spichererberg at least once a year. It's always nice, keep up the good work friends

"There's more to it - Place above an industrial area and the highway directly on the French border. The Gasthaus Woll up the hill is recommended. The site is getting on in years and the grass is unkempt. Showers are clean. Bread rolls are offered baked in the clubhouse. (Smoking area). Price, performance OK

"Vacation with relaxation - The campsite is located away from the city of Saarbrücken but is still easy to reach. Ideal starting point for hiking and cycling
