"Cozy, well-located campsite - My wife and I really liked the campsite. It's great for couples. The proximity to the city of Schwäbisch Hall is ideal. The surrounding countryside is great for cycling. The campsite owners are super friendly and the booking was extremely straightforward. We had two great days in Schwäbisch Hall. The sanitary facilities were clean and tidy. The showers with the coins are still "oldschool", but it worked great. The costs for the campsite owners are also rising... so it's absolutely understandable. The campsite is a little insider tip! We will be back.

"Thank you, it was super nice! - This is what true hospitality looks like! Thank you very much for this great experience. We, 2 adults in our early 60s with a dog, spent our first night camping at the Steinbacher See campsite. Thank you for your help and support, thank you for a super clean kitchen, spotlessly clean sanitary facilities, lots of lovingly designed pitches, great bread roll service and above all thank you for your warm hospitality and a wonderful evening with a cool drink and nice conversations in the small beer garden. "Small but very fine - A very idyllic and quiet campsite despite its proximity to the city. Set up and maintained with great attention to detail by the Freitag family. The absolute highlight is the barbecue area with campfire site, even firewood was available. Bread roll service is great and runs via a trusted cash register - respect! Keep up the good work, we definitely felt very comfortable and would love to come back!

"Good space without frills - The owners are very nice and always ready to help. The site is very well maintained, the pitches are not parceled out but marked. They are not huge, but big enough. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but very clean. The kerb from the driveway to the lawn can be negotiated by any mover. The location is perfect, very close to the city and yet very quiet, even during the day. The railroad line in the rock face is not frequently used by a quiet multiple unit train, which is not a problem. It is a bit annoying when garbage fees are charged separately.

Der Campingplatz "Am Steinbacher See" liegt - nur 2 km außerhalb des Stadtzentrums von Schwäbisch Hall - zu Füßen des ehemaligen Benediktinerklosters Comburg an einem Seeufer und verfügt insgesamt über 90 Parzellen, darunter 30 Dauerstellplätze. Da das Gelände an ein …Naturschutzgebiet grenzt, hat man hier die Möglichkeit, mehr als 100 Vogelarten zu beobachten. Darüber hinaus wartet der Platz mit einem modernen Sanitärgebäude auf und auch eine Waschmaschine sowie ein Trockner sind vorhanden. Außerdem bietet die Besitzerfamilie einen Brötchenservice an und betreibt eine kleine Kneipe, das "Camperstüble". Schwäbisch Hall bietet viel für Kulurfans, z.B. Freilichtspiele, Würth Kunsthalle, Freilandmuseum. Für die Abkühlung gibt es ein Solebad oder ein Freizeitbad (3 km). Für die jüngeren Gäste steht ein Spielplatz auf dem Campingplatz zur Verfügung. Nicht zuletzt ist der Campingplatz fast direkt am über 300 km langen Kocher-Jagst-Radweg gelegen.
