"Relaxed vacation in nature - As we needed a weekend to relax and switch off, we chose the campsite on the Wiesensee. It took us just under two hours to get there. Once we got there, we found the campsite straight away and were able to contact the groundsman using the telephone number on the signposts. He then allocated us a pitch, which we were quite happy with. We spent the following days walking, eating and relaxing. The site is secluded and surrounded by trees, which made the whole experience much easier. We are planning to come back in the summer.

"The horror of a campsite - After many years as permanent campers, we are giving up our current site. It no longer has anything to do with camping. The buildings are dilapidated, dirty and unheated. Building sites, rubble and garbage pile up. There are no rules or regulations. It used to be a well-run campsite, but now there are people who know nothing about camping and this place doesn't even deserve 1 star. The well-being of the campers is not in the foreground, but the purse of the operator and his assistants. Can't recommend this place.

"Disasters Place - Disaster site After more than 30 years we left the site as permanent campers. The site is a ticking time bomb of electricity, gas and water. No repair or maintenance on the site. Hygiene and cleanliness are non-existent. Who gives the place 5 stars, has not the slightest idea of camping. But if you have dogs and let them do their business on other plots, you give 5 stars. With the operator and his incompetent staff, only the Euro counts. Again the rent was increased without having invested in the space for the camper. We were also lied to and cheated like many other campers before us. Buildings are dilapidated, unhealthy and dirty. Paths in the dark poorly lit or not lit at all. Just say: worse is always possible !!!

"Better not - As a motorhome camper, you actually have everything on board except electricity. If you go to a campsite, you are happy to make use of the shower, toilet, etc. facilities - that's what you pay for. Here, however, it is better to do without the available facilities. The actual campsite is occupied by permanent campers. The whole site is unkempt. Day and short-term guests are accommodated on the separate tent meadow. Anyone can do what they like here. Payment in cash in advance on arrival. Bread roll service, baked rolls from 9 am. The adjacent meadow lake has been overgrown with weeds for years in summer, no swimming etc.

"Shocked:( - We were at the campsite today & were shocked😶, as children we grew up there and when the old owners Engelbert were still there it was an old but very nice campsite, now only shameful we almost came to tears when we stood at our old place..very very sad there are so many memories and regret it so much to have been there today..we are just shocked..unclean everywhere lies junk painted camping cars with smashed windows sad just sad.

Our campsite is located on the idyllic 80 hectare "Wiesensee" in the friendly high landscape of the Westerburger Land, right on the edge of extensive deciduous and coniferous forests. We have a bistro with a terrace, fishing pond, motorhome parking …spaces, camping meadow and an area for long-term campers. Many sports options such as golf, sailing, windsurfing and swimming are possible.
