"One of the most beautiful campsites ever! - The campsite in Au really is a gem, I've hardly seen a nicer and cozier campsite! Small, nice, well-kept, quiet, right on the Danube, great children's playground, cozy donAU Standl'l with good food and an excellent selection of beers, live music from time to time, Steckerlfisch on Fridays. We stayed there for almost a week and will definitely be back!

"Fine campsite right on the Danube - Great for cycling through, but also as a base camp for excursions in the surrounding area. The opportunity to have breakfast in the café is particularly nice.

"Fully relaxed - The site is very quiet and at the same time you can cycle to Mauthausen, Enns etc. in no time. At night you can hear the humming of the ship's engines, reminiscent of northern Germany (Norden etc...) On Friday there is Steckerlfisch in the restaurant on the square, highly recommended, the choice of beers is almost endless. Everyone is totally relaxed there, you sit by the water, look out over the palm trees in the marina, almost a southern flair. Gastronomy also recommended in the surrounding area, Mauthausen is 20 minutes away by bike. Top sanitary facilities We will be back
