"For transit ok - The site is outdated, offers no comfort, sanitary facilities: old showers, toilets in the car like at a folk festival, washing up possible in the shower room, the site is relatively sloping which is not so suitable for tents. Catering difficult in the surrounding area.

"Well suited as a pitch for one night - Remote site but close to Kelheim, Regensburg, Altmühltal. It is a pitch on an uneven meadow on a farm. There are cats and probably some chickens. We didn't see a playground. Quiet, but the main road is audible. Aircraft noise from time to time. View of the Danube? No Toilets in a container. No lighting in front of and on the way there. Showers and sinks in a room in the residential building. Showers for men, then sinks, then showers for women. Very poorly planned. There is a covered seating area with an old beer set and a few old chairs. Good for a stopover but nothing more. We were out and about during the day and were told to occupy our spot with chairs so that the operators would know that this was our spot. We did, but when we returned in the evening our pitch was occupied..... 30 € for a night without electricity is far too expensive for such a pitch with these facilities

"Very nice campsite. - Camping on a farm is a great thing here. Not far from Kelheim and Regensburg. The surroundings are beautiful. We're already looking forward to spring. Fishing is the ultimate for me, I'm in the right place here. And you have absolute peace and quiet here. The campsite owners are really very friendly, it's fun to be here. Everything is very clean, we feel very comfortable here.

"Price not justified - We certainly wouldn't have been any tighter on the pitch in Kelheim. And to charge €30 a night (2 adults, VW bus, without electricity) for that is hefty.

"The stars are not fair - No proper briefing on the course, where can I find what? No data collection, (Corona) ? Gray water disposal is not possible on the site. One tap for water. We will not come back there!

Profile

Die weite Campingwiese bietet genügend Platz für Zelte, Wohnwagen und Wohnmobile und eröffnet einen atemberaubenden Ausblick auf die Donau. Die sanitären Einrichtungen sind mit Warmwasser ausgestattet und umfassen WCs, Duschen, Waschbecken und Spülgelegenheiten. Zusätzlich gibt es eine zweite WC-Anlage sowie …eine Entleerstation für Wohnmobile. Für das leibliche Wohl sorgt ein Getränkeservice, und Gäste haben die Möglichkeit, köstliche Pizza von einer nahe gelegenen Pizzeria zu bestellen. An sonnigen Tagen lädt ein Biergarten mit Spielplatz zum Verweilen ein, der freitags und samstags ab 17 Uhr sowie sonn- und feiertags ab 12 Uhr geöffnet ist. Ein weiterer Spielplatz befindet sich nur 100 Meter vom Campingplatz entfernt. Die Umgebung bietet zahlreiche Möglichkeiten zur Erkundung, sei es durch Wanderungen auf dem Jurasteig oder dem Jakobsweg oder durch entspannte Bootstouren durch den Donaudurchbruch. Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Kloster Weltenburg und die Walhalla sind ebenfalls leicht erreichbar. Natürlich steht den Gästen auch kostenloses WLAN zur Verfügung.
