"Nice place, but unfortunately you don't feel welcome here - The sanitary facilities are quite clean, but rather rudimentary: there is a container exclusively for the campers, in which there is a toilet for each gender (with urinals for the men) and a communal shower (3 showers). The space in the communal shower is very limited, so you can almost only dry off one after the other in the area between the showers. There are also two washbasins for brushing your teeth etc.. All in a very small space. The showers have plenty of hot water and modern fittings. There is another sanitary container with five toilets and a hand basin for each gender. However, the camping guests have to share these toilets with the guests of the beer garden from 4 pm. However, it is understandable that the sanitary facilities are only in containers, as they have to be removed quickly in the event of flooding. There is only one (not particularly clean during our stay) sink for washing dishes, even with hot water. There is no basin specifically for washing clothes. There is no shop/kiosk where you could buy small items. About the beer garden: We didn't eat there as we didn't find it that inviting and the food on offer was quite limited. (Another nice, recommendable beer garden is located directly above the Salmenfang beer garden.

"Camping and the story with Mrs. O... . - The campsite has a wonderful location right on the Rhine. That was the positive thing. Then the next thing you know is the groundskeeper O... . Who would hire such an out-of-time "lady" to look after a campsite? Unfriendliness seems to be her middle name. The term "guest" seems to be a completely unknown foreign word for this "lady". I pay a relatively high price for the quality of the campsite and expect to be treated accordingly. However, I have remained emphatically objective in this presentation.

"Beautiful location on the banks of the Rhine, but the groundskeeper hasn't heard the bang yet! - The location is ideal, but the place is pretty run-down. The groundskeeper is no good at all! You really should turn around and leave immediately. Too bad about the beautiful location, you could make something out of it

"Very unfriendly groundskeeper - The site is beautifully situated and the beer garden is also highly recommended. However, due to the risk of flooding, the sanitary facilities are very provisional (containers). The groundskeeper was extremely unfriendly, assertive and apparently allocates the beautiful pitches according to sympathy. Reservations in the front row by the water are not possible. We won't be coming here again.
