"Klein en dichtbij de Atlantique-stranden en de 'Vélodyssée'-fietsroute - Small camping with 54 pitches, 24 of which are for tourist campers. De toeristische plekken zijn voor een deel bezet met seizoenplaatsen, zodat er ca. 15 resteren voor overige kampeerders. De rest is ingevuld met mobilhomes en chalets/cabanes. Rustige ligging aan de rand van het dorp en ca. 75m1 van de fietsroute 'Vélodyssée' (noord-/zuidroute). Ook de Atlantique-stranden en het 'Bassin d'Arcachon' zijn dichtbij en per fiets prima te doen. Around het Bassin kan goed gefietst worden. Mooie omgeving verder. De kampeerplaatsen zijn gemiddeld 90-100m2 (ook de 'confort'- plaatsen.Stroom 6A. Sanitaire voorzieningen zijn voldoende (er was maar 1 gebouw open begin juni) en kwalitatief in orde. Schoonmaken kon beter/frequenter, zeker als er jeugdgroepen vertoeven in de verhuurunits. Douches zijn niet regelbaar maar heerlijk warm en de waterstraal is krachtig! Leuk ingerichte camping met beplanting en diverse boomsoorten. De toeristische plaatsen zijn overwegend met schaduw waar de zon maar beperkt doorkomt (veelal onder/bij eikenbomen!). Op zich is het een rustige camping met zeer vriendelijke crew. Only when there are groups of young people in the accommodation it is very noisy at night (until 23.00.) and there are lots of young people running around in and out of the camper middles and in the sanitary facilities. Het moet om 22.00.u rustig zijn....... WiFi is aanwezig bij de receptie, maar werkte beperkt. Prijs-/kwaliteit is in orde. Er is geen zwembad. Snacks verkrijgbaar vanaf begin juni in een blitse 'Air Stream' caravan (heerlijke frites!) Voorzieningen in het dorp (bakker/super) en verder uitgebreider in het nabijgelegen Arès en Andernos-les-Bains. Ook Arcachon is a mooie plaats om te bezoeken. Camping is goed bereikbaar vanaf nabijgelegen wegennet; ook de kampeerplekken zelf zijn goed bereikbaar. Kortom we hebben er een mooie tijd (ruim 1,5 week) gehad en veel gezien van de verdere omgeving.

"Very well run campsite - Great value for money. The Atlantic Ocean can be reached by bike in 30 minutes and the 'Basin in 20 minutes. Connection to the bike network is possible in 200 m. The management is very personal and everything can be arranged quickly.
