"Bad as a place, very good for visiting Avignon! - It could be a beautiful place, but unfortunately it wasn't for us! It was full during our visit, which is not surprising as the location with the view of Avignon is really beautiful. But that was it - unfortunately!

"The best thing is the proximity to the city - I have been coming to this campsite for years. Unfortunately, obvious renovations are not being carried out, especially in the sanitary facilities. The large site would do well to invest in more sanitary buildings and renovate the old ones.

"TOP location at the gates of Avignon - The place offers a SUPER location for those who want to visit Avignon. We were here last time in 2006 and now again in 2019. Unfortunately, not much has changed on the site. The sanitary facilities are the same as they were over 15 years ago. It's almost an imposition to shower or go to the toilet here. The showers are often cold. The price is relatively high. There is also a restaurant and store on the site. There is plenty of shade on the pitch thanks to the many trees. This is great when it's sunny and warm, but not so nice at other times. There are lots of leaves on the ground. The gardener needs to work here more often. Unfortunately quite run-down.

"Well - We stayed 2 nights to explore Avignon. Great location just a short walk across the bridge into town. Friendly reception staff. Sanitary difficult to keep clean. Renovation required.

"well.... - Already at the reception, which is also the cash desk for the "mini market", where you don't really want to shop, the wreathed ambience catches your eye.... due to these huge trees the place is too dark and seems cramped Sanitary definitely has it behind it otherwise it was quiet despite good occupancy...

There is a laundry room with several washing machines in the games room. There is a grocery store on the campsite selling all the essential products. We offer home cooking at the campsite: pizzas, a small menu with various dishes. On the Île Barthelasse, a 5-minute walk from Bagatelle, the Vaucluse committee of the French Canoe, Kayak and Paddle Federation invites you to discover Avignon differently, day or night.
