"Very poor price/performance ratio! - The area is a paradise for cyclists/mountain bikers! However, the campsite is about 150 meters above the valley floor and you have to climb up after every tour. Otherwise a great location! Hiking possible directly from the campsite. Quiet, even on the pitch. The mostly large, terraced pitches are sometimes a challenge for campers and caravans to drive to and from. Steep, partly graveled roads and rammed terraces. However, the groundsman will certainly help. In general, the campsite looks a little unkempt. Water points are rare. Light in the evening too. Sanitary facilities are old and no longer up to date. Partly defective. However, clean. For the very high price I would expect more!

"Beautifully situated - The welcome was nice and uncomplicated even though we arrived at lunchtime. The site is in a quiet location on sloping terrain. The pitches are terraced, fairly level and generously sized. Electricity connections available (our pitch had a CH plug). Some of the pitches may be difficult to access with large campers. Not all pitches have shade. The sanitary buildings are open. The toilets and showers are very clean and in new condition. Hot water included. There is toilet paper and soap. There is a large swimming pool on the site (during our visit it was too cold to swim), a restaurant with delicious food. Everything is tip top.

"Oh dear, - As a regular visitor with permanent campers on the site, the sanitary facilities are getting on in years. After renovations, only 1 was open over Whitsun! Queuing for a shower was the order of the day. Too bad, too bad, too bad!

"Too long a wait - The restaurant has given way a lot since there are new owners. You have to expect a 20 minute wait if you sit at a table even though it wasn't very busy. Then you can wait again until you get your order. They are not very friendly and you can wait a long time for the bill if you don't ask for it straight away. I've been there a lot in the last few years and this year 2 times and never again.

"At the foot of the Bella-Tola - Large and well-kept family campsite with friendly, committed operators. Clean, somewhat outdated sanitary buildings, but well thought out and with sufficient capacity. Large swimming pool with children's pool and slide included, free fridges for campers, up-to-date newspapers. A beautiful site with a mountain panorama that offers plenty for families with children up to 15 years of age, a pleasant international clientele and a good location for excursions (and away from the transit route to the Simplon) recommend this site for a visit to Valais. (Restaurant/bar available and well received, but not tested.) Prices 08/2015: 2 adults (child up to 6 free), 1 camper, electricity, visitor's tax 40 CHF

"Recreation - The campsite is centrally located in Valais. All the sights and well-known places can be reached in a short time. The quiet location just outside leaves nothing to be desired, as everything important such as shops and restaurants are on site.

We look forward to welcoming you as our guests to one of the best places in the canton of Valais. Camping Bella-Tola is located in a very quiet area. The nature park "Pfyn is our neighbour; you can reach it …comfortably from our campsite via an imposing pedestrian suspension bridge. You will relax with us - there is no main road adjacent to our campsite, no aircraft noise and no industrial emissions. Our place lies above the place Susten on 750 m above sea level, in hilly terrace situation with for the most part flat and shaded places. Camping Bella-Tola is located in the German-speaking Valais. Within a short drive you have the possibility to visit the Matterhorn near Zermatt, the Aletsch Glacier in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the quiet Turtmann Valley, high dams or Saas-Fee, the pearl of the Alps, to use impressive chair lifts or aerial cable cars, to maintain wellness in the nearby thermal baths of Leukerbad, to take a three-pass trip, to marvel at mountain flowers and marmots on hikes, to discover many unforgettable mountain paths - easier or more demanding - to undertake smaller and bigger mountain bike tours or to simply rest on our beautiful place and "let your soul dangle".
