"1 overnight stay with car - I spent my first night at the campsite tonight and am surprised at how friendly and clean it is here. I don't understand the Google reviews as I was completely surprised and positively received. The staff are super nice. The toilets are clean. The property is also clean. Pets are allowed and there are no problems. I would love to come back

"Once and never again! - This campsite is an absolute no-go. Absolutely filthy due to the noisy party crowds - bottle caps and cigarette butts all over the site, used sanitary towels in the showers and toilets full of vomit are just the tip of the iceberg. If you fancy a festival feeling, you're in good hands here, but if you like camping, you should definitely avoid the site! Loud, roaring, drunk people, both during the day and at night, and unfriendly staff round off the whole thing (negatively). Never go camping at Ratschersee again.

"www.restlosbegeistert.de - We were guests at the campsite at the end of June 2022. Having previously witnessed German thoroughness and regulations on a strictly managed Bavarian campsite, we were quite perplexed by the instruction to "find somewhere nice". So we did and found a brilliant and great place right next to the water 💦 and nudist area. In addition to making nice acquaintances and chatting, we loved the opportunity to take a shower straight after bathing naked. The mix of young and old made us expect stress. But nope, towards the evening the noise level was significantly reduced thanks to the security on site. Throughout the day, employees were out and about removing garbage and litter. We would like to see improvements to the signage, clearer information on the options for washing dishes and shorter distances to the toilets. Perhaps the creation of a flyer with instructions for general use, e.g. that you need tokens to shower, would be a feasible short-term solution. But all in all a great place. We will be back!!!

"Just to celebrate - No room for campers There are almost only groups that come to party No quiet time music and noise around the clock A tip-off to site managers about right-wing extremist music was ignored. Too few sanitary facilities for these crowds Once and never again on this site!

"Party & slide - The campsite offers youth groups in particular the opportunity to really party - something that is rather undesirable at many other campsites. If that bothers you, you probably shouldn't come here, even if "quieter" guests get a pitch or tent pitch far away from the noise if possible. The slide looks harmless, but is also a big hit for adults. The hillside location, the lake itself - that's great!

Egal ob Einzelgast, Familie, kleine oder große Gruppe oder sogar Firma bzw. Großveranstaltung - wir kümmern uns um ihr Anliegen.

Seit 25.07.2008 ist die Autobahn A73 durchgängig befahrbar und die Abfahrt Schleusingen ist ca. 3 min vom Erholungsgebiet entfernt. Am besten fährt man also aus allen Richtungen über die A73, dann Abfahrt Schleusingen, dann Richtung Eisfeld (das Erholungsgebiet ist gut …ausgeschildert) und biegt am großen Wegweiser (Abfahrt Schönbrunn) zum Erholungsgebiet ab.
