"Fantastic place in the forest - I was there as a single person with the VW bus for a week in the low season. The space in the second row was perfect. There were no surprises thanks to the 360° online tour. Beautiful little campsite in the middle of an old pine forest right by the sea, built into the hillside. Fully supplied by a small mini-market (always fresh pastries) and its own fruit vendor. You can walk to the small town of Osor in 10 minutes, enjoy the fish of the day in Konoba Adria and marvel at the colorful hustle and bustle in the canal lock. The sanitary facilities are absolutely clean, but you have to climb a few meters to reach them from the front rows. Just perfect for those seeking peace and quiet in a VW bus!!! Very large campers will find it a little difficult. The tent pitches are also highly recommended.

"Pure relaxation, sea, shade and clean sanitary facilities! Dreamlike - It was our first time at the Bijar campsite and we booked a premium pitch near the new and always clean sanitary building. The pitch was very level and, thanks to our mover, easy to access with the 6.40 m long caravan. However, the whole pitch is very steep and therefore not suitable for large vehicles or for people with limited mobility. You should bear this in mind before booking. We were able to moor our boat at the jetty and experienced the surrounding bays as beautiful destinations. You can get into the water easily everywhere at the campsite and the bathing spots were never overcrowded. Despite the large number of dogs on the site, there were no leftovers to be found, as there were plenty of garbage cans and poop bags available, which were well used. It was a very relaxed vacation for us, everything you need is within walking distance. Shopping market at the campsite, several restaurants in Osor. The cleaning team at the sanitary facilities was cleaning all day, so the building was always invitingly clean. We would love to come back.

"Very nice small campsite, by the sea, quiet, nice shady places - Very nice small campsite, by the sea, quiet, nice shady places, partly sea view, new sanitary facilities, very clean, wonderful entry points into the sea, small sandy beach, located near Osor (small town that can be reached on foot in 10 minutes), there are several very good and nice restaurants, small supermarket on site, we were here for 6 days in June 2020 and would come back anytime

"Stay in July 2020 - We stayed at Camping Bijar for the first time as a couple in July 2020. Most of the pitches are only suitable for smaller motorhomes and camper vans - the ramp to the pitch is particularly steep in the first row. The pitches in the first rows are terraced, so most of them have a sea view. Further back, the camp consists of a large unparceled area. At the entrance to the camp there is a store with moderate prices; fresh bread and sweets are sold daily from 7 a.m. to 12 noon at a separate stall. There is also a stall selling fruit and vegetables, which is open daily. Three times a week a fish vendor comes from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. - unfortunately I can't say whether the prices here are good. There is also a small beach bar; it is somewhat hidden next to the basketball court. We only had a drink here, but I think they also serve snacks. The location of the camp is perfect for our needs - a great starting point for boats, as one side of the island is usually virtually windless. The small town of Osor is within walking distance, where there is a pizzeria, 2-3 restaurants, a store and a bar. The camp staff were all very, very friendly! We will definitely be back!

"pleasant very quiet camp - what is surprising is the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. the cleaning team is cleaning several times a day. really pleasant when you have to take a shower or just go to the toilets. a big thank you to the whole cleaning team. otherwise, a little too much is promised when it comes to the place. the older lady doesn't have it so under control or the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

"Cozy campsite in the pine forest to relax - Kamp Bijar is in a wonderfully peaceful location in an old pine forest right by the sea with a small fishing port and wildly romantic rocky coastline. It is also pleasant that the small, medieval town of Osor can be easily reached on foot via a path that leads along the sea and past the ruins of a monastery. It really is almost kitschy and beautiful. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you.

The Bijar Camp is situated in a hundred-year-old pine forest, on gentle slopes facing the west and the sea only 500 m from Osor, an ancient town with rich cultural and historical heritage. A rocky beach with picturesque pebble-covered coves …stretches partly along the bay protected as an archaeological site and further along the camp shore. The camp is suitable for camping in small tents and caravans and offers accommodation on superior, premium, comfort and standard pitches as well as accommodation in caravans for hire. Camp Bijar is a small camp intended for families with children where you will enjoy the peace and quiet of the island of Cres. The camp was awarded, in 2009, by the Italian Association of Campers with the award "Simpatia ed Ecologia" (Sympathy and Ecology). An ecological way of life is very important to many campers. Camp Bijar has been involved in environmental awareness within the camping world, so the campsite has introduced organic waste water treatment via a plant based treatment process.
