"Vacation - Very well-kept site, friendly staff. Direct access to the water for swimming in Lake Constance, free WLAN, water and waste water at every pitch. Also suitable for larger vehicles. Sanitary building very clean and sufficient available. Restaurant available on site, price performance of the restaurant could be better, but it's just Lake Constance. Will definitely be back.

"Always beautiful! - This was our second time here because we liked it so much. On site are really the friendliest operators we have ever experienced. Sanitary was always clean. The restaurant is also great! Meersburg, Überlingen and Constance are within easy reach and all worth a visit. Gladly again and again :-)

"Nice on Lake Constance - Very warmly run campsite, pitches with water and waste water connections. Some of the pitches are shady. The permanent campers are very loosely distributed, there are no built-up permanent camper ghettos The sanitary facilities were always very well maintained. Very suitable for caravans and motorhomes, less suitable for tents and in rainy weather because there is no infrastructure such as hotplates or recreation rooms for campers. Lunchtime regulation. Arrival only possible after 15:00. The small stretch of beach is not much to look at, it is basically a slipway for the boats. The water here is of poorer quality and the beach is musty. Presumably from the extremes of the many ducks and swans. We then cycled to Uhldingen for a swim, where there is a wonderful public beach access. The independent restaurant (Im Vorbei) is a bit expensive for the usual standards such as Maultaschen etc. It's ok for occasional visits. The owner is very nice, but often a little over the top. Sometimes a snack bar is open next door, which is also very expensive (currywurst with bread roll €5.5). Bread roll service in the restaurant. WLAN only available to a limited extent. The site could be improved with a separate area for motorhomes. The constant coming and going of this type of vehicle creates quite a disturbance. The question of questions: Can you recommend this site for a 14-day annual vacation? YES!

"Great location on Lake Constance - The site makes a very well-kept impression, as do the sanitary facilities. The campsite operators are extremely friendly and helpful and the restaurant on site can definitely be recommended. A must outside the campsite is Bauer Möcking (approx. 3 km away on the cycle path). We would love to come back.

"Recommended place with very good (adjacent) restaurant - We decided on this campsite at very short notice and luckily got a nice pitch. The campsite is located directly on the lake and on the cycle path, road traffic is barely noticeable. The staff on site are friendly, the sanitary facilities are spacious and very clean. The highlight for us was the adjoining restaurant "Im Vorbei", which we visited every evening. The very friendly owners prepare and serve great dishes. The overall impression of the campsite and restaurant was so good that we will definitely be back.

Am nördlichen Bodenseeufer gelegen, stellt der Campingplatz Birnau-Maurach die ideale Basis für Tagesausflüge z. B. zu den Pfahlbauten in Unteruhldingen oder nach Lindau dar. Außerdem bietet sich von der Liegewiese direkt am Wasser ein schöner Blick auf das Alpenpanorama sowie …bis zu Blumeninsel Mainau. Zur Ausstattung des Platzes zählt ein modernes Sanitärgebäude, welches mehrere Dusch- und Einzelwaschkabinen sowie 4 Kinderwaschbecken und die zum Teil behindertengerechten Toiletten beherbergt. Außerdem sind ein Babywickelraum sowie ein Spülraum vorhanden. Ebenso stehen den Gästen eine Waschmaschine und ein Wäschetrockner zur Verfügung. Bootsbesitzer schätzen zudem die platzeigene Slipanlage. Das Freizeitangebot des Campingplatzes Birnau-Maurach umfasst einen Spielplatz, einen Sportplatz sowie eine Tischtennisplatte. Dart, Billard und Tischfußball sind in einem gesonderten Jugendraum untergebracht. Daneben verfügt die Anlage über einen Gemeinschaftsraum, der gleichzeitig für das Kinderanimationsprogramm sowie für Yoga-Stunden und ähnliche Veranstaltungen genutzt wird. Komplettiert wird die Infrastruktur dieses Campingplatzes durch einen Lebensmittelverkauf und ein Restaurant mit Seeterrasse.
