"Restlessness day and night - Don't be fooled by the picturesque aerial view: The site is located directly on Ringstrasse 1 and even if the traffic is light at night, the petrol station opposite is open day and night. I was there with my tent and motorcycle and didn't feel comfortable at all. Happy campers arrived around midnight and were loud until the early hours. Plus the noise from the road and the petrol station. This was the least recommendable place on my trip to Iceland.

" - Beautiful site on a meadow by the river, below the main road, but still quiet. Swimming pool and gas station in the immediate vicinity. Sanit. Facilities good and clean, electricity connections, washing machine and dryer available. Very friendly, helpful site operator. Rental accommodation available.
