Chaletpark en camping Boomans is een rustig en kleinschalig recreatiepark in een bosrijke omgeving. De prachtige natuur nodigt uit om er met de fiets of te voet op uit te trekken. Vanaf het park beginnen diverse mooie wandel- en fietsroutes …die u kunt combineren met een bezoek aan Bredevoort. Faciliteiten:Camping Boomans is centraal gelegen tussen de omliggende dorpskernen. Het park verhuurt (elektrische) fietsen en sinds kort kunnen gasten ook knooppuntenroutes volgen. Kinderfaciliteiten:Voor de kinderen zijn er diverse speeltoestellen op het park. Tevens is er een prachtige speeltuin met een grote trampoline en een zandbak. Daarnaast zullen zij zich uitstekend vermaken bij nabij gelegen zwembad " ’t Walfort ", een unieke combinatie van een gezellig binnenbad en een prachtig natuurbad. Restaurants: in Aalten vindt u diverse restaurants en eetcafés waar u terecht kunt voor een hapje en een drankje. Ook in het nabijgelegen Bredevoort zijn er diverse locaties waar u kunt lunchen of dineren. Diner bijvoorbeeld in een sfeervol middeleeuws restaurant of in het Museumcafé. Ook een snackbar en café ontbreken in Bredevoort niet. Op enkele kilometers van Aalten, in het dorpje Miste, bevindt zich een pannenkoekenrestaurant.
