"Questionable 4* - Does not deserve 4* (price/performance is not right). For shower you pay extra 1.--/5 minutes (4* campsite in CH???), unsuitable for dog owners, as there is only a meadow outside the campsite, otherwise you have to drive away by car, snack at the reception; only a few chips and ice cream to buy, bread rolls are only available during school vacations (?). This campsite may be ok for permanent tenants, but rather disappointing for vacations or weekends.

"We would love to come back - We felt very comfortable and welcome at this campsite right from the friendly welcome and the helpfulness of the campsite operators. The campsite is very well maintained and the sanitary facilities are clean and new.

"Nice place, directly on the highway - We were there with the tent for a weekend. About the site itself: very well maintained and everything available. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. More for those passing through, as 95% of the pitches are permanent. The campsite is also an outdoor pool for day visitors. Also nearby by car, the zoo and Rigi. Restaurant: tasty and high prices, children's menu at CHF 15.00. Sanitary facilities: clean and well maintained. Minimalist playground. The focus is on the bathing lake, which is clean and refreshing. Unfortunately, the beautiful site is located directly on the highway and next to the railroad. This is of course very loud at night in the tent. But it was fine with earplugs.

" - Beautifully situated pitch directly on Lake Lauerz with a great view. Unfortunately, relatively loud noise from the nearby highway. Many excursion destinations can be easily reached by bike (Goldau zoo, landslide area, Schwyz, Brunnen)

Autobahn A4 Zürich – Brunnen, Autobahnausfahrt Arth-Walchwil (37) und rechts Richtung Arth, Pfäffikon, Tierpark fahren. In Oberarth beim Kreisel die zweite Ausfahrt Richtung Pfäffikon, Steinen, Tierpark. Nach Goldau rechts abzweigen Richtung Steinen. Nach ca. 3 km rechts über die Autobahnbrücke …abzweigen zum Campingplatz. (Ihr Navi weist Sie evtl. auf die Ausfahrt Goldau (38). Diese Variante ist für Wohnwagen und Wohnmobile nicht empfehlenswert.) Autobahn A3 Sargans - Zürich, Ausfahrt Schindelegi. Via Sattel, Steinerberg, Richtung Arth. Vor Goldau links abzweigen Richtung Steinen. Nach ca. 3 km rechts über die Autobahnbrücke abzweigen zum Campingplatz. Mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln können Sie entweder nach Arth-Goldau oder nach Steinen reisen.
