"A Wonderful Stay in the Barrel - A wonderful vacation in a barrel with an absolutely fantastic team! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful time at the Buschhof vacation park! Sleeping in the barrel was super cozy and a really great experience for the kids. The natural pond and the animals (horses, rabbits, etc.) also make the place a truly idyllic spot. The interactions with the local community were especially nice: There are many long-term campers and people who live permanently on the grounds. Everyone was incredibly kind, and we made connections and friends extremely quickly. But the absolute highlight was the staff: The employees are all absolutely wonderful! Some of them definitely deserve a raise, as they truly go above and beyond day and night. We’d like to give special praise to Christina, Manuel, and his girlfriend Yvonne—you guys are great! But the rest of the team was also just fantastic. Unfortunately, though, it’s clear that the staff sometimes can’t keep up with the workload at all because there’s simply an incredible amount to do. Everyone is trying their hardest, but the campground operator might want to step in and provide more support and relief for their motivated employees! Another thing that’s definitely missing there are vending machines. If you could quickly grab a coffee in the morning or get an ice cream for the kids on hot days, that would be perfect. When we were there, there was no restaurant or anything like that (though that’s supposed to change soon), but a few vending machines with the basics would be a huge help to the campground and wouldn’t even require extra staff. All in all, it was a thoroughly successful vacation for us, one we’ll look back on fondly for a long time to come. A huge thank you to the entire team for the wonderful hospitality and the warmth with which we were welcomed—you made our stay perfect! We’ll definitely be back!

"A beautiful, quiet spot - We spent a long weekend there. The sites are large, and most have conveniently located electrical and water hookups. You’re also right out in nature, which is really nice. You also can’t hear any traffic noise at all, which is really relaxing. The private bathroom is functional, well-located, and a decent size. We didn’t like the way the guests were placed, though. There were actually quite a few open spots. We would have preferred it if the RVs had been spaced out a bit more. All the sites behind our hedge were empty. Nevertheless, the one right behind ours was the one that was assigned. The guests sat outside late into the night, listening to music and talking loudly the whole time. That was a bit annoying. And the dishwashing area has very large glass panels. As a result, it gets as hot as an oven.

"Very nice place - It was a great weekend at the Buschhof. A very beautiful spot on earth. Well-kept, but still rustic. Everything you need...well-maintained sanitary facilities. Located on the Patensteig, excellent for hiking. Lots of animals ... simply idyllic. We will definitely be back.

"Long weekend in camping vessel - The barrel is a fine stay but the plumbing is not close and the campground is very quiet with mostly fixed mobile homes. The surroundings are beautiful and a supermarket is close by. You can park the car close to the barrel and you have enough space in the barrel for all your stuff and the table outside with parasol is very nice.

"Was okay - Unfortunately, I wouldn't go to this campsite again, there are simply nicer places. It just didn't have that great vacation feeling that we had at other campsites
