"More than awsome - I am very impressed of the big and nice pool with good Animations but also enough time wher you can chill in there. The Person is very nice and in the small store is eberything you need and the best wine ever;)! The places are very big so you have more than enough space. The see place where you can go swimming or just chill in the shaddow of the trees is very awsome. Every thing is very clean there! You can go walking around the see and the trak is very nice and easy to find so this you have to do there also becouse of the nice views ther but you have to take a whole day for that. All in all i have to say that i was on like 15 different campimgplaces in europe and this one is in my top 3. thanks for the nice time guys<3.

"Change of ownership since 2016 - significant improvements! - I stayed at this campsite in 2016 and 2017, which I have known well for 30 years! The site is something for nature lovers and people who don't mind the southern French. Laisser-aller does not bother so much. Next to the reception, there has been a kiosk called "Stephan" since 2016, which leaves nothing to be desired: fresh bread, croissants, a wonderful range of wines, fresh fruit, just like a small supermarket. Since July 17 there has been a new, huge pool with jet facilities, very elaborately built! The pitches are very well parceled out and there is plenty of space in the low season! The Salagousee is often windy (surfers), a bit brackish, but has good water and warms up very quickly.

"Nothing to eat - Somewhat secluded, but situated in a very beautiful landscape by the lake. However, there is absolutely nothing there, neither a café, nor restaurants nor any shopping facilities - be sure to bring your own food from the town! The pitches are stony, clayey, the tent pegs were difficult to get into the ground; the sanitary facilities are of a minimum standard. Price for one person with tent and bicycle: EUR 5.00.

" - We stayed at Camping Salagou for two days in August. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pitches are large and mostly flat. The sanitary facilities are a bit dated but very clean. The beach is about 500 meters away, stony and with a sunbathing lawn behind it. However, swimming is only possible to a limited extent, at least at the time of year when we were there, as the Lac du Salagou is a reservoir and the water level is very low in summer. On one part of the beach there is a (very expensive!) water play park with lots of attractions. We were given a cycling map at reception, so we were able to take a nice bike ride around part of the lake, which was very worthwhile. As there was a sporting event near the campsite on the first day of our stay, it was relatively loud in the evening. A large group of girls sang funny French songs incessantly. Because of the noise (which didn't bother us too much), we were only charged for one day on our departure.

" - Beautifully situated CP, about 100m from a lake with sunbathing lawn and bathing shore. Very nice reception, free WLAN, no store or bread service, shopping facilities approx. 2 km in Clermont L`Herault. Sanitary facilities partly outdated but usable. Very quiet, hiking possibilities. Parking space for motorhomes in front of the CP.
