" - A great campsite where service and personal attention prevail! In the year 2004 we got acquainted with this uniquely situated, well-equipped campsite and to this day we stay there throughout the summer season, the last few years on a permanent spacious pitch, enjoying the Westerwoldse nature in all its splendor. Here we can enjoy relaxing hiking, cycling and even Fungolfing in this wooded nature reserve. Consulting the euro-friendly menu of the farm-style romantic-looking family restaurant/terrace De Gasterij is a must, the friendly service and the excellent meals complete it. The toilet facilities are a separate story...., in a positive sense that is...really super! The years are counting so we too are happy to make use of the Senior Service offered, top! One small minus, there is no swimming pool at the campground, but just a stone's throw away there is a heated municipal swimming pool to which Bronze Oak campers have free access. The village of Sellingen, also called the Pearl of Westerwolde, is located 1km from the campsite as well as the tourist office and tea tasting Noordmee. Some of the museums and historical events we enjoyed visiting: The Vesting Bourtange, The Veenmuseum at Bargercompascuum, Museum Klooster Ter Apel, The Noorder Dierenpark in Emmen, the Meyer Werft at Papenburg Dld. Etc. etc. It will be clear that if we are in good health, we will be back in 2011! Family de Groot Alkmaar

De onthaast camping van Westerwolde. Kamperen in de sfeer van toen en met de luxe van nu. De camping ligt in het bosrijke natuurgebied van Sellingen in het mooie Westerwolde (Z.O. Groningen). De prachtige natuur, de grote afwisseling in landschappen …en de rijke historie maken van Westerwolde een waar ontdekgebied. Om dit allemaal te ontdekken staat een uitgebreid netwerk van honderden kilometers fiets- en wandelpaden de bezoekers ter beschikking. Een prachtige camping in een nog mooiere omgeving Zeer geschikt voor kampeerders die van fietsen, wandelen, cultuur, rust en natuur houden en voor gezinnen met kleine kinderen. Wij beschikken over 53 comfortplaatsen van minimaal 100 m2. 12 comfortplaatsen van minimaal 100 m2 zonderstroom en c.a. 15 trekkersplaatsen. Dit alles verdeeld over 3 velden. Verder beschikken we op dit moment over 5 velden voor tentplaatsen zonder stroom en water, ook geschikt voor groepskamperen. Ruime comfort plaatsen van minimaal 100 m2 met: • Aansluiting op elektra 6 amp., water en vuilwaterafvoer • Eigen golfbaan met 9 holes • 1 auto mag bij de caravan, vouwwagen of tent staan • Velden alleen voor tenten • Trekkersplaatsen • Speeltuin • Restaurant met terras • Ontbijtservice Een luxe vloer verwarmd toiletgebouw: • Speciaal wasgelegenheid voor: baby's en kinderen tot 11 jaar • Ruime douches • Voldoende sanitair • Wasserette met droogtrommel en wasautomaten Kampeerders van camping 'De Bronzen Eik' hebben gratis toegang tot het verwarmd gemeentelijk zwembad, entreebewijzen bij de receptie. De schapen en reeën zijn onze buren, net als het informatiecentrum ‘Noordmee’ met inpandig VVV-kantoor, het verwarmd gemeentelijke zwembad en het openlucht theater. De ‘Noordmee’ geeft u alle informatie over de omgeving en ver daarbuiten, vooral over de vele fietsroutes en wandelpaden. Wij zijn het gehele jaar geopend
