"Manageable space that invites you to come back. - A place that offers something for everyone. Those who want to relax can do so by the sea. If you want to get active, you can also do so by the sea. Wonderful bike tours are possible. Wellness is also catered for. All in all, a place that we will certainly visit again.

"Fine campsite on the Ijsselmeer - Booking and payment is possible completely online. It is also possible to choose your own pitch. After our arrival, a member of staff visited us and asked if everything was OK. The campsite is located on the Ijsselmeer with its own beach section and beach promenade with beach bars. Various rentals offer SUP's and surfboards. Each pitch is equipped with electricity and water points are scattered around the site. The sanitary building is always clean and showers can be used with a card. This is topped up with €5 on arrival. There is a toilet block on the beach. Various electric boats can be hired at the nearby beach resort. The campsite also has a well-stocked supermarket and a snack bar. Fresh bread rolls and pastries are available daily in the supermarket. Cycle routes are well signposted via the junction system. There are two beach bars on the beach promenade. The site is very quiet, next to a marina. Makkum, with its beautiful market square, can be reached by bike in about 10 minutes. We can definitely recommend the campsite.

"Very muddy, but on the beach - we won't be back with the camper van, dog and toddler. simply too remote and muddy.

"Nice place - Unfortunately, our pitch was quite muddy. That wasn't so great in the camper van without an awning. Otherwise, it was right on the water, a paradise for surfers and other wind sports enthusiasts. The sanitary facilities were new and very clean! You can be in Maqkkum in 10 minutes by bike. A really great place worth seeing. There's also a great supermarket on site that has everything you need. We would come again.
