"Simple CP not far from Villandry Castle - We stayed on the site for 2 days at the beginning of September and visited Villandry Castle, which is about 3 km away. The location of the campsite by the river is beautiful. The sanitary facilities are very basic and barely adequate when the site is full. Bread can be ordered at the reception.

The cosy village of Savonnières is perfect for grabbing a bite to eat in the evening. Plenty of space in the shade Thanks to its location on the "Loire à Vélo" route, this campsite is very popular with cyclists. A special field for small tents is kept free for them. If you don't have a tent with you, you can rent the smartly furnished tents, which guarantee a comfortable stay with plenty of sleep. The spacious sites for camper vans or large tents are located along small roads in the shade. Some sites offer a view of the water. Campers can be sure of getting a pitch on hard ground - always handy! Cycling, swimming and playing Don't have a bike with you, but still want to explore the beautiful surroundings? You can rent one at the campsite. Kayaks can also be rented here if you prefer to take a tour on the river. But a round of swimming in the waters of the Cher is also lovely.
