"Beautiful view - Difficult to reach, the small, fine CP with a view of the river. We wouldn't have been able to take the pitch without a mover. The town is a nice place to go for a stroll.

"Very nicely located place with antediluvian sanitary facilities - The positive thing about this site is the beautiful pitches directly on the Rhone. Size of the pitches ok. Sanitary facilities underground, as only French. Toilets and ancient showers with cold water. But it looks like something is about to be renovated. You are immediately in the most interesting little town with restaurants, bars and stores. Street and railroad noises can be heard from the other side of the river.

"Nice place with a beautiful view - We stayed at the campsite for one night on the way south and one night on the way back. By French standards, the sanitary facilities are serviceable and clean. The location of the site is excellent. The town of Tournon sur Rhone is really only a 3-minute walk away and is well worth a visit. The crowning glory is always the bakery around the corner. I've never eaten such delicious croissants and baguettes!

"Unkempt - I have rarely seen such an unkempt place. Even the friendliness at reception doesn't help. The pitches are also very small and the paths are narrow. The site is not suitable for large and wide caravans.

"One of the few campsites open all year round on the way south - Beautiful location on the banks of the Rhone, town very close. Friendly staff. The old sanitary facilities were being renovated during our stay. Not very quiet due to the shipping on the river. Nevertheless, very suitable as a stop-over place on the way south.

"I don't understand...., - Since March 2013 the sanitary facilities have been criticized and nothing is being done, otherwise a great place on the Rhoné with a bakery nearby and a supermarket within walking distance of about 1.2 KM. You have to be very careful with the power consumption because the 6 Amp. Fuse does not hold too much. If you want 10 amps, it costs extra. The view of the Rhone compensates a lot, but what the sanitary facilities delivered is a disaster, I don't know if standing toilets are the standard in France. The hot water doesn't deserve the name either, as it was only ever lukewarm, including the showers. We would certainly have stayed a few more days but due to the state of the sanitary facilities this was not possible.

Follow "centre ville", you cross the bridge direction Tournon and turn right at the end of the bridge. Follow …the Rhône til the central place of Tournon. See "La Poste", the campsite is at the opposite of the street.
