"Very nice sympathetic camping staff - We were very impressed by the friendly and generous staff and were even able to park our car on site for very little money during our bike tour around Lake Geneva. We would love to come back and recommend the campsite to others. Very nice location on Lake Geneva and nice beach for swimming, good starting point.

"Extremely expensive & absolutely nothing special... - Extremely expensive campsite at a hefty €23.19 per night per person with just a tent & bike! On the other hand, the campsite is more of a "macho place" where big muscles apparently wouldn't even make it to the next bakery by bike...!

"Price / performance - Mid-October: kiosk closed, restaurant closed. We only got the public transportation ticket in the evening when we no longer needed it. So we left after one night. the price performance is totally not right. And so I can only agree with the others who have rated it. there are certainly better ones than this one on Lake Geneva

"Space for permanent campers and transit travelers - At reception, you are greeted in a friendly manner in all languages. I attended a French course in Lausanne in July and August 2014 and lived there for 9 weeks. The pitch was spacious and nice and level and partly in the shade of the trees. The view of the lake is missing for a vacation. The totally outdated sanitary facilities were cleaned at 6 am and in the afternoon. The waste management should be reconsidered; I disposed of my dirt daily in the "public waste bins". The store is O.K. and the restaurant is recommendable. There is almost always a party in the park by the lake. It's nice that public transport is free for guests far into the country.

" - Large pitch in a convenient location. Unfortunately no direct lake view. Very friendly reception. Public transport tickets included in the price. Pitches not separated from each other. Quite quiet. Sanitary facilities completely run down. As every guest is given a bin bag when they register, there are no garbage cans on the pitch or in the sanitary facilities. As a result, there are used sanitary towels lying around in the ladies' toilet, for example. Compared to the condition of the site, the overnight price (just under EUR 47 for a VW bus with two adults and two children) is completely exorbitant.

"Overnight stay - We were on our way to Barcelona in April 2013. Camping de Vidy was only for an overnight stay. The site was ideal for this purpose. We didn't visit Lausanne, but it would have been ideal from there.

The Lausanne Transport Card - guarantees free Transport in the city …and is availavle for free for our camping guests. We are open 365 days! Only our restaurant closes in winter time and re-opens in april.
