"Ruhig und gemütlich - Wir waren als Paar mit einem Zelt dort und hatten eine sehr entspannte Zeit. Man ist weit weg der Straße und kann doch in 15 Minuten ans Wasser laufen. Wir waren zur französischen Ferienzeit Ende Juli und es war längst nicht so überfüllt, wie bei den anderen Plätzen (Source / Pins) direkt am Wasser. Die Betreiber sind freundlich, morgens bekommt man vor Ort gebackene, frische Croissants und Baguettes. Die Sanitäranlagen waren nicht 4 Sterne, aber das ist ja vorher bekannt. Insgesamt haben wir es sehr genossen!

" - Ein angenehmer Campingplatz. Vom Restaurant aus kann man die Kinder im Pool beaufsichtigen , gleichzeitig Bier trinken und dabei im WLan Netz surfen. Was will man mehr.

" - Glücksgriff! Hatten uns einen Platz am Lac de Saint Croix ausgesucht, der wie ein UN-Flüchtlingslager überbelegt war. Der Municipal ließ uns mit Grauen abwenden. Camping Chanteraine liegt zwei Kilometer außerhalb von Aiguines oberhalb des Sees an einem Hügel. Ca. 500 Meter Weg zum See mit Badestelle. Der Platz liegt ruhig abseits des großen Trubels. Stellplätze sind unterschiedlich groß und terrassenförmig angelegt, teilweise mit schönem Seeblick. Sanitäranlagen durchaus verbesserungswürdig, sogar behindertengerecht, was aber angesichts der vielen Stufen und Höhenunterschiede auf dem Platz Fragezeichen hinterlässt. Kleiner Pool, kleiner Lebensmittelkiosk, Restaurant rustikal-gemütlich. Französische Jugendgruppe mit Zelten war vollkommen ohne Probleme. Guter Ausgnagspunkt für alle Touren rund um den/auf dem Lac und den Gorges du Verdon. Oberer Teil des Platzes Mietchalets.
