"Great for sightseeing - Sanitary buildings are getting on in years, not separated by gender, but were clean. Showers are super small. Ideal starting point for sightseeing in Avignon, a trip to the Pont du Gard is also recommended.

"Super town square - Perfectly situated on an island directly in front of the Pont du Avignon and the Pabst Palace, quiet, large shady pitches with electricity and water - not all - especially those with a view of the city, some without electricity, pool, small supermarket, baguette, croissant, pool bar, free ferry behind the site across the Rhône to the old town, simple sanitary facilities, a bit outdated but clean, unisex, no toilet seat but mostly paper available, really charming place - oh and not to forget the cicadas, price-performance for us very reasonable family with 3 children and camper 38 the night

"Top location in Avignon - A well-known site for us, close to the city, shady. Not exactly cheap in the high season (July), but good prices for such a place before and after. The site is located on the banks of the Rhone on a river island directly opposite the famous and sung-about bridge and the old town. From the northern end of the square, a free (!) passenger ferry crosses the Rhone every 15 minutes, docking on the left side of the river at the height of the rock (from there it's about a 15-minute walk to the Pope's Palace). There is no easier way to get to the city center! Good facilities: swimming pool, epicerie, restaurant, ... Despite the size of the site, the sanitary facilities are clean.

An ideal location to visit Avignon! Our campsite is located at the gates of Provence on the island of Barthelasse and extends on a nice park sported and flowered of 7.6 hectares. It faces and offers a superb view on …the famous Bridge of Avignon and the City of the Popes. Enjoy the free river shuttle to the city center. On site: Spacious and shaded camping pitches, last generation mobile homes, 500 m2 aquatic area, restaurant, snack bar, mini-market, entertainment in July / August ...
