"Good place for a stopover or even longer - The site in Péronne is not far from the highway. We stopped here on our way to Brittany both on the way there and on the way back. The site is interesting for anyone traveling from the Ruhr area or the Cologne region. We pre-booked the pitches (we were traveling with two families and caravans) online without any problems. Reception doesn't open until 4:30 pm, but the site is open and there is a sign at the entrance saying that you are welcome to choose a free pitch. Baguettes and croisants can be pre-ordered for the morning. Sanitary facilities can (often) only be as clean as the guests. In our case, it was clean and really good. The small pool is a good place to cool off after a long drive in the heat. There is a playground and even a small volleyball court. The place is quiet at night. In the small bar there are various draught beers and other drinks at reasonable prices. You can also take the dog for a nice walk. Advantage: If you need to refuel, you can do so in the immediate vicinity. The Somme is a beautiful, branching river on which you can certainly also go kayaking or similar; the site is therefore also ideal for a few days longer. If you are interested in the First World War, there is a well-designed exhibition in the old castle in Péronne. We have very positive memories of the place and will certainly use it again as a stopover if we travel in that direction again.

"Good starting point for theaters of war - You can look for pitches yourself, they are marked with numbers, but not everyone sticks to them (tent over two pitches!). WLAN in the reception area, small bistro available. New sanitary building in tip-top condition and clean. Small pool also available. Town within walking distance with cafés, restaurants etc.

"We have found a solid place to stay. - The site is located at the harbor and on the road, which explains the ambient noise, at least in the peripheral pitches. Nevertheless, it's a good place to stay if you're just passing through, although the price was one of the highest for us compared to the other pitches we used. Sanitary facilities are up to standard, there is even toilet paper available. We would not want to spend our vacation here.

"Overnight stay - This is the 3rd time we have used the site for an overnight stay. The rating remains the same: with sufficient provisions on board, the pitch is suitable for one or two nights. Bread roll service ok, sanitary facilities usual French standard. The peace and quiet is somewhat impaired by the work in the harbor. In contrast to other sites, this one is not characterized by permanent campers and/or permanent dormitories. Should we travel to Brittany again, we would stay here again.

"Acceptable for one night - Acceptable campsite for a night in transit, arrival possible until 10 pm. Very nice reception, pitch okay, sanitary borderline. At least toilet paper, but no soap. Very good snack and baguette service. Small swimming pool, dogs can go for a nice walk at the small harbor.

"Just passing through! - We were given a nice welcome on arrival with a bread roll service for the next morning. Free choice of pitches on the site and large enough. The location is in the middle of the industrial area, right next to a mixing plant. The children's playground is in a neglected state, with broken play equipment. The fairly new-looking pool appears unkempt. Now to the sanitary facilities. The equipment is old and partly rotten. There are 2 toilets in the men's area and it is difficult to keep them clean given the high number of visitors. It's just a short stopover. The price-performance ratio is not right here and 3 stars are not appropriate.
