"Good CP. Conveniently located. Close to town. Many sights within easy reach. - We were there in mid-April during Semana Santa (high season). The site was therefore well occupied. The campsite is very conveniently located - both for a stopover and as a starting point for tours in the surrounding area. The campsite has many large deciduous trees and is therefore likely to be shady in summer. We enjoyed the sun in the still bare trees. The pitches vary in size (from too small to nice and big) and are well separated by plants. The site is flat. Electricity is available on every pitch and water points are distributed throughout the site. Wifi on the pitch is just fine. The sanitary facilities are very well constructed and equipped. In both parts of the building there is a cabin with shower, washbasin and WC, one with washbasin and WC and an area for children with a baby washing area and children's showers. There are also plenty of shower cubicles, hand basins and WCs. Dishes are washed outside under the canopy. Hot water is available throughout the sanitary area and is readily available. Fresh pastries can be bought on site in the morning and there is a small store with the most important basic supplies. The restaurant seems to be good, it was always busy (not tested). We were there for over a week because many interesting destinations can be reached within a short distance via the highways (Valladolid, Salamanca, Zamora, Palencia...) We always felt comfortable on the friendly and well-run site and were able to communicate well in English.

"Excellent camping! - A lovely campsite; excellent sanitary facilities, as many as four washing machines (maybe it is very busy in August). The best part was that classical music was on in the washroom. A limited number of pitches have little shade. Suitable as a transit campground on the way to Portugal. Three important cultural cities nearby: Salamanca, Zamora, Valladolid.

EL ASTRAL is a first class camp, situated at Tordesillas (Valladolid) in the very centre of Castilla y Leon. It is perfect for visiting the whole province and region in a few one-day-trips (100 km. -average- from all the capital …cities). And a very good stop to drive across Spain in two days. Our camp is very convenient for either long or short stays. Beside the Duero river and only 1 km. from town, its level pitches and good shade make your stay more comfortable. The atmosphere is very familiar and we are proud of our friendly staff. .Enjoy our 30.000 sq.m. in contact with the Nature. 600 trees, Green areas, Bungalows, Two swimming-pools, Playing courts, Tennis, Mini-golf, Basket-Ball and Garden terrace.. Clean environment is one of our mottos. We have been heating the water for 30 years thanks to the sun energy. Not even a liter of water is poured into the river without being treated in our depurator system. And we have a recycling system for green detritus, glass, paper and old batteries. EL ASTRAL is recommended throughout Europe by its peace, cleanliness, service quality and helpful staff. You can choose among various sport and leisure activities in the camp and in the neighbourhood. We offer a great variety of tourist routes. We even own a small Tourist Office. Ask for information. Bookings are accepted. And you can speak your language, you'll be understood. . Our last advice for now: Try our prestigious Restaurant and taste the "Gallo Turresilano" (Rooster) and other dishes of the local and regional gastronomy. Our "mottos" are: - A un paso, which means Near Everything. - Turismo no contaminante, meaning Clean Tourism.
