"Quiet place in the forest - A beautiful, almost ideal place for cyclists. The Tauber cycle path runs right past the site, lots of trees, so hardly any satellite reception, no success with DVB-T either. I didn't feel comfortable in the sanitary facilities. The chemical toilet is emptied in the men's room, unpleasant for everyone else who wants to wash or shower there. Everything is quite old, the taps only give cold water and you have to pay extra for the shower. The facility itself looks old, rustic and in need of an overhaul. The restaurant offers old German cuisine, no offer for vegetarians. The very friendly owners, the uncomplicated service and the rather low price are real highlights. All in all: highly recommended

"Great campsite - Great pitches with trees. The Tauber right next to the site. Super nice and helpful operators. Restaurant with home-style cooking right at the entrance. Very clean sanitary facilities. Lots of power points, you don't need a long cable. Fishing licenses are available directly at the registration desk.

"Very nicely located place - The site is beautifully situated on the Tauber and the country road on the other bank didn't bother us, there was wonderfully little traffic. We also really liked the fact that you can choose your own pitch. All in all, a very nice place. The downside (from our point of view) is that the sanitary facilities were not heated and there was only one tap for cold water at the washbasins. Otherwise, the site is highly recommended for campers who like it quieter.

"Beautiful place under trees - The whole place looks like a beautiful park and you can always find a nice, shady pitch. The operators are very friendly and relaxed. The site is a good starting point for hikes and city tours. We didn't mind that there is no bread service. We were more bothered by the very old sanitary facilities, which clearly reached their limits with the high occupancy rate. It would be nice to see some investment here.

"Short trip to the concert at Wertheim Castle - Passionate campsite operator: very friendly, individual service. Somewhat older sanitary facilities, but very clean. Very quiet, supplies in the nearby village from the bakery and butcher. The highlight was the opportunity to swim in the Tauber! Very good burger restaurant on site, be sure to reserve in advance: 13th street (facebook) This was not the last time we were there!

"Nature camping rustic - Very friendly operator couple, which also applies to the permanent campers. Free choice of pitches on unparceled grounds with mature trees. Apart from the tent meadow, the water pitches are firmly in the hands of permanent campers. The sanitary building is no longer up to date but always very clean. Only 2 showers each for men and women. No spatial separation of toilet, chemical toilet sink and washing/shower facilities. Washing facilities only cold water. Many dogs running loose (must be kept on a lead according to site rules?). Access via cycle path also for the restaurant. Therefore a lot of traffic (guests, suppliers, ...) along the site until late in the evening. Adjacent railroad line clearly audible.
