"Good for sightseeing - Well located pitch on the outskirts of Burgos. Situated in a recreational area on the outskirts of Burgos. The pitch is on grass. In bad weather, the ground is therefore a bit muddy. We were there in winter! There was a heated toilet block. The sanitary facilities are simple, a bit worn, but very clean. They meet Spanish standards. There is a nice cycle path to the cathedral in the town. Definitely worth a visit. The restaurant serves cheap, tasty home cooking. The daily menu is recommended. Many Spaniards also eat here as the restaurant is in front of the campsite. We like to use the campsite on the way to Portugal as it is easy to reach from the Autovia.

"Good for visiting Burgos - On the outskirts of Burgos, beautifully situated in a sparse forest. Good location for visiting the city or if you are passing through. Easily accessible from the highway on a four-lane road. You don't have to drive through the whole town. The sanitary facilities are old and a little worn, but clean. you can eat tapas in the restaurant at a reasonable price, but pay attention to the waiter's comments. The portions are large. For two of us, 2 portions were enough for lunch.

"Good as a base for Burgos, for the surrounding area or for passing through - This was our third time here. We stayed here for a few days a few years ago and came to appreciate the location in relation to the city and the transport routes. Now we were here again just passing through. Not much has changed in the intervening years. The sanitary facilities work well, but are also well used. During our stay, all of the sanitary blocks were open, which meant that we could walk short distances for "urgent errands". However, hot water for the shower, washbasin and sink was only provided in one sanitary block. This was heated, which was very pleasant during our stay with night frost. The pitches are large enough and mostly well laid out so that they can be easily accessed and used.

"Ideal location for visiting Burgos - Camping under trees with relatively small but marked pitches. You can reach the city center of Burgos in a few minutes by bike through a green area and explore the city on foot. The cathedral in particular is absolutely worth seeing, as is the atmosphere in the city. There is also a bus service. The site itself is heavily used, so the sanitary facilities are not always in the best condition, but they are cleaned regularly. We were very disappointed with the campsite's restaurant: poor food, lovelessly served at not really reasonable prices. But the town offers plenty of alternatives.
