"Good for a trip to the Aletsch - The place is ok for passing through, I wouldn't go on vacation. The sanitary facilities look like they were built by grandma, although the showers made a very well-kept impression. The toilets are accessible from the outside and have potential in terms of maintenance.

"Camping in Brig - The campsite is ideally located for visiting the town It is very clean and is right on the river (you can't swim) but the swimming pool is right next door. The friendliness at the reception could be improved.

"It was perfect - we'll be back! - Central starting point in Valais. In 15min. You can be at the train station or in the small town, which has a lot to offer. The pitch is not parceled out, but the boss comes along personally and you choose the best pitch together - great idea! The infrastructure is simple. A little older, but always clean and hygienic. The bread roll service is also great and delicious.

"Fantastic! - The best campsite in the region! Very well arranged, clean, I was particularly impressed with hair dryers available for anyone. Plus, the visitor tax is 10 times smaller than in further valleys.

"All good - We chose this site based on the reviews on Camping-Info. We really wanted to see the Matterhorn and thought it was better not to drive right up to Zermatt. We have not regretted this decision. We can confirm the positive aspects of everything described above, but we found the sanitary facilities absolutely satisfactory and you can now pay by card. The highway bridge disturbed me more visually than acoustically. We even stayed longer on the campsite than originally planned, as it is conveniently located for many excursions and many great destinations are easily accessible from there (Zermatt by train, Suonen trails in Valais, strolling around Brig anyway, gourmet bike tour). And the tone there is friendly, uncomplicated and competent. There are also campsites further down the Rhone, but we didn't like the location as we drove past (not even the Rhone valley in this area).

"Practical location - The campsite is next to a waterfall, along the river you can reach the city center in a few minutes. Sanitary facilities are old - but always clean! The operator is always available to answer questions in a friendly manner, bread rolls are available on site (to order). Billing is fair in € or CHF. Gladly again :o)

Der Camping "Geschina" liegt am Ufer der Saltina. Der Familienbetrieb (seit 1958) liegt wenige Gehminuten vom historischen Städtchen Brig am Simplon und dem prächtigen Stockalperpalast entfernt. Die schöne, gepflegte Ferienanlage offeriert Ihnen grosszügige und individuelle Stellplätze (unparzelliert). Der Camping …verfügt über saubere Sanitäranlagen, die Ihnen durchgehend Warmwasser garantieren. Neben einem Spielplatz und einem Einkaufsladen (täglich frisches Brot) mit kleinem Aufenthaltsraum, besitzt der Camping neu eine Grauwasserentsorgungsstation. Selbstverständlich bieten wir Ihnen auf Teilen des Campings einen Gratis-WLAN-Hotspot an. Zum Badeplausch in unmittelbarer Nähe des Campings (250m), erwartet Sie das beheizte Freiluftschwimmbad der Gemeinde Brig-Glis, Es verfügt über eine 100m Wasserrutschbahn, einen 3 m Sprungturm, ein 50 m-Olympiabecken und ein Beach Volleyball Feld sowie einem Restaurant. Erleben Sie ein sommerliches Brig zu Füssen herrlicher, geruhsamer Wander- oder Bikerparadise. Besuchen Sie das UNESCO Weltnaturerbe Aletsch mit seinem imposanten Aletschgletscher oder das das Simplongebiet mit seiner "Via Stockalper".
