"Greeting place - I didn't like anything The sanitary facilities were horrible. A place like this should be closed. The town of Bad Lauterberg and the waterworks should be ashamed of themselves MFG

"Doesn't work at all... - This campsite is so outdated that it is only worth demolishing it and building a new one. The pitches are laid out in terraces. Electricity is taken from an old distribution box. There is no water supply or waste water disposal. You have to take the steep climb from the pitch towards the reception (a small log cabin) and then walk to the sanitary building. It's not possible to fetch water quickly (with a jug, of course). And if the water tank is pretty empty, then have fun walking. The access road to the pitches is dilapidated, broken up and slippery. A car with a 1500 kg trailer is unlikely to manage the ascent without four-wheel drive and sufficient horsepower. Let's move on to the sanitary building. It is located in the middle of the forest on a hill (you have to walk up the stairs). The toilets are anything but attractive. The so-called restaurant and a kiosk are closed. Apparently not just since yesterday, but for several years now. Tearing down is more worthwhile here. The only nice thing about this campsite is the absolute peace and quiet and the tent pitches. They are located separately from the pitches in the forest with a partial view of the dam. Partly because here - even if it is supposed to be a nature CP - pruning is more than necessary. Access to the dam is either via the campsite or via a path down to the water. There is no sunbathing lawn or anything similar on the side of the CP. Just stones; some large, some small. So if you are looking for an adventure vacation and are traveling with a tent and don't have any demands on cleanliness or the like, this is the right place for you. Unfortunately, I had to award one star for the overall impression; this campsite doesn't deserve it.

"Getting worse every year - The sanitary facilities are simply disgusting, the toilets are not cleaned and no toilet paper is refilled. A certain level of cleanliness and hygiene can be expected, after all, you pay for it!

"Location wonderful, place neglected - The location directly on the lake is great, everything else lovelessly neglected. The and assigned sanitary facility was not cleaned (since when?), Only 2 working ladies' toilets / washbasins, the others broken, garbage in the washroom not emptied, nothing cleaned in 2 nights. What a pity! Electricity and water at the pitch worked.

"Glockental nature campsite - We, my wife and I say that there is hardly a more beautiful place, because you can really relax there, what every visitor / camper makes of it we (as real HARZER) do not want to judge. But we as: Anglers, hikers, cyclists, canoeists and permanent campers are very fond of the beautiful NATURE CAMPING PLACE and find it very nice there! And the groundsman is a very nice, friendly and helpful person! L.G. U & M Trautsch

"no hope... - Sanitary facilities are totally outdated and partly non-functional. Only 3 of the 6 urinals still work and small children can't reach the flush at a height of 2m. Only 2 out of 5 toilets still work. Fortunately, we were alone on the campsite. The terraces for camping are unkempt and partly criss-crossed by deep tractor tracks. I couldn't see that anything had been renovated.

Familiär geführter Campingplatz in ruhiger Lage direkt am Ufer des Oderstausees im Harz. Natürliche Umgebung, da in einem Naturschutzgebiet gelegen. Aus Richtung Hannover Fahren Sie über über die Autobahn A7 bis zur Ausfahrt Seesen. Dort biegen Sie ab auf die Bundesstraße B243 Richtung Herzberg. Bleiben Sie auf dieser Strecke, bis Sie in Herzberg angekommen sind. Wenn Sie in Herzberg angekommen …sind, bleiben Sie auf der B243, bis Sie nach links auf die Bundesstraße B27 abbiegen müssen. Folgen Sie der B27 und fahren Richtung Bad Lauterberg (Braunlage). In Bad Lauterberg bleiben Sie auf der B27, bis Sie Bad Lauterberg verlassen. Etwa 1 Km nach dem Ortsschild von Bad Lauterberg biegen Sie rechts auf den Staudamm der Odertalsperre ein. Folgen Sie dem Straßenverlauf für 1 Km. Sie sind an Ihrem Ziel angekommen. Aus Richtung Kassel Fahren Sie über die Autobahn A7 bis zur Ausfahrt Göttingen/Nord (Braunlage ist ausgeschildert). Biegen Sie hier ein auf die A395 und folgen Sie dem Straßenverlauf bis zum Ortsschild von Göttingen. Sie befinden sich nun an der Weender Kreuzung. Fahren Sie geradeaus auf die B27 Richtung Braunlage. Folgen Sie der B27 und fahren Richtung Bad Lauterberg (Braunlage). In Bad Lauterberg bleiben Sie auf der B27, bis Sie Bad Lauterberg verlassen. Etwa 1 Km nach dem Ortsschild von Bad Lauterberg biegen Sie rechts auf den Staudamm der Odertalsperre ein. Folgen Sie dem Straßenverlauf für 1 Km. Sie sind an Ihrem Ziel angekommen.
