"Brussels up close - Campsite for motorhomes and caravans. We wanted to book online and were turned away due to overcrowding. But as we were already familiar with this, we arrived anyway and lo and behold, there was space not just for us. And we were given a friendly welcome, initiated and provided with tips and tricks for a pleasant stay. The site and facilities are clean and well maintained. And just over 30 euros per night all inclusive is not excessive considering the proximity to Brussels and the fact that there are hardly any pitches here. Tickets for a trip to Brussels can be purchased at reception. And remember, camper van drivers greet each other.

"Too crowded, sooty smell from traffic on local bike roads. - Green pearl is not what it used to be because of heavy light-polluting traffic on unsuitable local roads.

"Schwierig... - Wir waren zufällig dabei, als der Campingplatz Besitzer (der Deutsch spricht) sich damit bei jemandem brüstete, dass er sofort die Polizei ruft, wenn jemand um 22:01 Uhr noch Musik macht. Oder er an Campingwagen auch mitten in der Nacht hämmert und die Leute wach macht, die im städtischen Parkverbot stehen. Darauf war er sehr stolz. Es müsste eben alles seine Ordnung haben. Da wir solche selbsternannten Scherriffs sehr unangenehm finden (die Geschichte hatte genug von solchen!), und sowas nicht unterstützen möchten, haben wir uns einen anderen Campingplatz gesucht, obwohl der Platz einen guten Eindruck machte.

"a cozy and clean campsite - We came across this campsite for our short vacation with the aim of visiting Brussels. Although it is in a quiet location, it is still in the outskirts. Unfortunately, there are no shops within walking distance, so you have to go by bike or plan to do your shopping beforehand. The sanitary facilities were clean. We would go to this site again if we were in the area.

"Schoon, rustig, busaansluiting met Brussel - Vriendelijk ontvang, mooie plekken, zowel met zon als met schaduw. Sanitair is modern, heeft altijd warm water en het aller belangrijkste: altijd schoon! Bus to Brussels 300 meters away from the camping. Geert, de eigenaar verkoopt tickets voor de bus en geeft informatie. Very practical. Wij were a full week op deze camping en kunnen het iedereen aanraden!

"A really great and very quiet place - A really nice campsite as a starting point for visits to Brussels and Mechelen. Bus stop 200 m from the site. Groundsman super friendly and always ready to help.
