"Camper pitches very unkempt - Dee place for campers is totally unkempt and run down.price performance is not right at all.you stand on a construction site with a lot of scrap iron waste all around.loveless. Shower costs extra. Not recommended for campers!!!

"A CP beautifully situated in the Swiss countryside - This is a great place to relax. The restaurant and sanitary facilities are second to none. Located directly on Lake Sihlsee, you can dive, swim and sail here. The village of Einsiedeln with its monastery and pilgrimage site is well worth a visit. The landscape is magnificent and the air is good. Remember to pay by Eurocard or credit card, as the exchange rate is 1:1 in cash!

"A site geared more towards permanent campers - This type of site, which is unfortunately often found in Switzerland, lives mainly from the permanent campers. Friendly welcome, very nice restaurant, the sanitary facilities are the best you've ever seen. Good starting point for cycling tours in the region. There is a small coffee and surf school bar at the front of the Sihlsee that you shouldn't miss!

" - The best sanitary facilities I've ever seen for an average campsite, large, new, great toilets too. Almost all permanent campers, only a few pitches.

Ganzjährig geöffneter Campingplatz direkt am Sihlsee (Nähe Einsiedeln) mit eigenem Badebereich am See. Wandern, Radfahren, Schwimmen, Segeln, Fischen alles ist möglich hier in dieser herrlichen Umgebung. Ausflüge zum Kloster Einsiedeln, Hoch-Ybirg zum Wandern und Schifahren. Wlan ist gegen Gebühr vorhanden. …Die schönen Sanitäranlagen sind mit allem ausgestattet und behindertengerecht nutzbar. Großes Restaurant am Platz mit regionalen Spezialitäten. Kinderspielplatz, Grillplatz, Sitzgelegenheiten für Zelter vorhanden. Großer, sehr gut sortierter Shop. Frisches Brot jeden Tag zu haben. Zwei Kurzstellplätze für ein bis zwei Nächte auf Schotter in einer Terrasse angelegt, für Längeren Aufenthalt gibt´s Grasboden.

Von Einsiedeln kommend geht eine Brücke über den Sihlsee, aber schmal (Breite Fahrzeug 2.10m). Mit Gegenverkehr muss gerechnet werden. Man sollte lieber die nächste Brücke Richtung Ethal nehmen, diese ist für LKW´s ausgelegt.
