"Von Dauercampern gepräger Platz - Wir waren mit dem Wohnwagen für eine Zwischenübernachtung auf dem Platz. Der Platz ist von Dauercampern geprägt, zu dieser Jahreszeit waren aber sehr wenige anwesend. Das Sanitär ist modern und gepflegt. Die Gaststätte hatte montags und dienstags geschlossen, daher sind wir in Nesselwang essen gewesen. Brötchenservice gibt es mangels Nachfrage zu dieser Jahreszeit nicht mehr. Knapp 45 Euro im Oktober für zwei Personen, Wohnwagen und Strom sind nicht gerade billig.

"Sauberer Platz mit wenig Flair - Der kinderfreundliche Campingplatz liegt direkt am Grüntensee. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und problemlos. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sauber und ansprechend. Das Abspülwasser ist heiß und allgemein ist der Platz sehr sauber und der Brötchenservice ist angenehm. Der Kiosk am See mixt wirklich erstklassige Drinks und die Betreiber sind sehr nett. Der Platzwart ist äußerst hilfsbereit. Es gibt jedoch einige Abstriche. - Warum kann ich meinen Wohnwagen nicht so abstellen, wie ich will? Bitte nicht quer abstellen. So ein Quatsch. - Der See ist zum Baden nicht geeignet, zumindest nicht am campingeigenen Strand. War vollkommen verschlammt und man musste erstmal 100 m rausschwimmen um dem Schlamm zu entkommen. - Unser Stellplatz war wesentlich zu klein. Dafür war die Zufahrtsstraße sehr eng. Zum Ausfahren mit dem Pkw musste man mehrfach rangieren. Das ist nicht zeitgemäß - Die fehlende Parzellierung lässt keine Gemütlichkeit aufkommen. - Die platzeigene Kläranlage sorgt doch für eine gewisse Geruchsbelästigung. - Gemessen an der Platzgröße war der Aufenthalt schlichtweg zu teuer. Allgemein wünsche ich mir, da es schon nicht nachvollziehbare Angebote an kinderfreien Hotels gibt, Campingplätze, die hundefrei wären. Das ständige Gekläffe geht auf die Nerven. Dafür können aber die Campingplatzbetreiber nichts.

"Camping direkt am See - Toller Familienplatz im Allgäu. Viele tolle Wanderungen lassen sich in nächster Nähe starten. Der kiosk direkt am See ist super und alle sind sehr freundlich.

Our idyllic, generously laid out campsite is located between Oberstdorf and the world-famous royal castles, between mountain slopes on …one side and the shore of the Grüntensee on the other, with a large and well-kept play and sunbathing area. It is ideal for both summer and winter holidays. Whether you are staying in a caravan, tent, motorhome or in one of our exclusive holiday apartments or rooms, the new ‘igloo huts’ or the directly adjacent motorhome parking area by the stream for 12 motorhomes with water and electricity connections – here you can experience, relax and enjoy. There is something for everyone in the family, including a large play and football area, a TV room and a room for teenagers, a fitness room, a pedal boat and SUP board rental, a sauna igloo hut, a new barbecue area by the lake with an open fireplace, and a range of activities in the surrounding area, including hiking, , swimming, sailing, surfing, fishing, climbing, cycling from leisurely tours to demanding mountain bike tours, two golf courses and in winter the cross-country ski trail with direct access to the grounds and ski lifts just 100 metres away or in other nearby ski resorts. Winter and snowshoe hikes, tobogganing, curling, ice skating or horse-drawn carriage rides are also on the programme during the cold season. The extremely comfortable 5-star sanitary facilities convey a real feel-good atmosphere with plenty of space and practical, child-friendly services, 2 family showers, hairdryer, make-up corner, washing machines and dryers, a generous washing-up area, a disposal basin and a dog bath with dog shower. In the cosy restaurant with a large sun terrace, you can indulge in Italian dishes, Allgäu specialities and fine homemade cakes, while you can enjoy the peace and quiet in the secluded kiosk by the lake and enjoy a snack for in between. Kempten, with its traces of Roman history, is particularly suitable for a city trip. Culture lovers will get their money's worth in Wertach, a climatic health resort and family-friendly village 3 km away, with folklore evenings, village and mountain festivals, concerts and autumnal cattle drive festivals.
