"Unfortunately overcrowded - In itself, this is a beautiful site with charm in a nice environment. The pitches are dusty but nice and spacious, plenty of shade from the trees and top sanitary facilities. Cars are not allowed on the site, which is great for children and ensures peace and quiet. They have to be parked in an extremely dusty, unguarded area. From there, shopping and sleeping children have to be dragged through the heat. This also has the side effect (??) that more tents fit on a pitch without a car. So in the HS there were 3 to 6 tents (i.e. several families) on almost all pitches, which led to serious overcrowding on the site. This was noticeable at the mercilessly overcrowded pool and beach, far too few sunbeds and reservation activities from early in the morning. Sometimes endless waiting times at the bar and restaurant, but also at the supermarket. Pastries were sometimes not (sufficiently) available despite pre-ordering. High noise level, especially in the evening and at night. The main target group seems to be families with children from 0-10, for this group there was (Greek-speaking) animation until late at night. Pitches for camper vans and caravans mainly around the bar and pool - but there you are exposed to constant noise well into the night. We liked the place overall, but believe that it will unfortunately lose its special appeal and charm. Too bad....

"Nice campsite - Beautifully maintained campsite with very friendly staff. We missed the visual separation between the pitches a bit. The beach is beautiful and in the low season dogs are allowed on the beach and in the water. Outside the campsite you can take a wonderful walk along the beach with your dog. The restaurant on site is good, but there is also a very nice tavern right next door. We didn't use the toilets, but the showers were clean and had hot water. We had a wonderful stay!

"Relaxed and comfortable at the same time - On pitch G12 we felt very comfortable in the beautiful trees and blooming flowers. The campsite has a lot of flair and is also a good starting point for visiting the Mani and Gythio. We will be back again.

"Pleasant, but forget Sunshinecamping club discount - Plenty of space and found the dream place relatively carefree in the preseason; not everything open yet (restaurant etc.)

"Rating - We will come again had very nice days on the campsite, great would be a bus connection to Gythio, the Parcellen were a few years ago much larger and now it is very tightly planned and with motorhome but also sometimes very difficult to park.

"A beautiful relaxing campsite - A really beautiful, relaxing campsite in the north-east of the wonderful Mani. We spent some happy and cozy days here and met new friends. The staff were very friendly and nice. For us, the Peloponnese is and remains the No. 1 holiday destination, simply unsurpassable. A beautiful country, steeped in history, with wonderful, super friendly, helpful people and fantastic food. We would love to come back to this place

Gythion Bay is a campsite on the Greek peninsula of the Peloponnese. With its sandy beach and large swimming pool, it is the ideal place for a family holiday in natural surroundings. Enjoy the luxury of a 4-star hotel and …experience the freedom of a modern, clean and well-organised campsite. Located in the south-east of the Peloponnese, Gythion Bay campsite offers its visitors a connection to the healing power of nature, a haven of relaxation with a range of facilities and activities for all ages. The campsite is located in a large orchard, where olive trees, orange trees, fig trees and walnut trees alternate. They offer plenty of shady spots, but some of the three hundred pitches are also in the sun. You can also camp right on the beach on marked out pitches. If you have fallen in love with the campsite atmosphere and don't want to leave, we offer daily activities for adults and children. Keep fit with beach volleyball, windsurfing and kitesurfing, or compete in darts, table tennis and table football. Our young campers can make new friends and enjoy the pool, playground and daily activities and games organised by a specialised member of staff. The area offers great day trips and beautiful places that are not easily accessible by large vehicles. E-bikes offer a unique way to explore the quiet and unspoilt rugged coastline of Mani and the spectacular views. Our brand new playground is now available for our younger campers to enjoy safe and creative play. The playground is equipped with a safe synthetic grass flooring and many new and original games. Our renovated kitchen offers an enticing menu with a variety of traditional Greek dishes and delicious snacks. In the morning, we serve a breakfast and brunch with a wide selection. You can enjoy healthy omelettes and fresh eggs with bacon, crêpes, healthy crunchy muesli with dried fruit and nuts, creamy Greek yoghurt with honey and freshly squeezed organic orange juice.
