"Price performance is okay - Generally a good opportunity to spend a few nights there, but quickly too full in the high season. The sanitary facilities are mostly clean, but the showers are old and the shower heads are so calcified that the water comes out in a single hard jet.

". - A nice little well-kept campsite. With bread roll service and a very good restaurant. The sanitary facilities are clean and well heated on cold days. I stayed at the campsite for 3 weeks and can only recommend it.

"beautiful, somewhat chaotic place - We were there for a week at the beginning of September. You can't make a reservation, so it makes sense to call in advance. As there are no pitches, everyone stands where they want and can. This results in a slightly chaotic occupancy of the pitches. It's also a pity that the pitches directly on the lake are blocked by permanent campers, most of whom are only there from time to time, spoiling the beautiful view. The site is located on a peninsula and there are bathing opportunities everywhere. We had a kayak with us, easy to handle. The sanitary facilities are ok. Friendly instructions on the use of sanitary towels are displayed everywhere. Disinfectant is available everywhere. The prices are good, showers are free 👍. Registration is uncomplicated and friendly; you can pay in cash or by card. It's about 1.5 km uphill to Murnau train station. No problem with an e-bike. From there a good starting point for a visit to Munich. On site a good restaurant, food very tasty and inexpensive, the beer runs 🤪. We can recommend the place despite the unconventional occupancy.

"Here you feel at home - Very well-kept and beautiful campsite. The restaurant is highly recommended. The food is very good. Friendly staff. Everything is very well maintained. Unfortunately, no pitches are reserved. At the disposal for motorhomes, the floor inlet is unfavorably arranged (a gutter would be better). We will definitely be back.

"Best canping if you have a boat or SUP - The owner is really nice, helpful and funny if you have a bit of a Bavarian disposition. The restaurant can also be used for wedding celebrations - it's that good, but still not expensive. But it's really fun to take the boat or SUP over to Weissbierinsel for lunch or simply spend the whole day discovering small islands or visiting secluded beaches, e.g. on the island of Wört.
