"unfriendly, impertinent and not recommended - For a "family camping trip" with my parents and 4 brothers and their families, I booked pitches and apartments 4 months in advance. This was for 2 nights, which is probably less common in a place that is used more as a transit campsite. I wasn't told that a wedding would be taking place in the associated country inn on the Saturday and I didn't receive any information about it later either. The party with a loud band and later even a DJ went on until shortly before 3 in the morning. Thanks for that. One of my brothers was unable to arrive on Friday due to a train overhead line fault and only arrived on Friday. It was clear that it wouldn't be possible to cancel at such short notice. But the operator's reaction was - to put it mildly - very bratty. There was nothing they could do. Well - it's really not their fault. But the fact that the two 2-year-old twins and the 2-month-old baby were charged like adults was the last straw. That's just not on. One brother's stay cost 260 euros (4 people incl. final cleaning) and the other 220 euros (3 people incl. final cleaning) - without breakfast, of course. I don't need to write anything more about this. The story says it all....

"Close to the highway and Regensburg - We had a very nice reception, take exit no. 97 on the A 3 (not according to the navigation system), you can drive up to the registration, then turn at the traffic circle to get to the site. At this time of year, the pitches on the meadow were very wet, we were able to park on a motorhome pitch and our car on the next one next to it. The showers and toilets were at the right temperature, which we had experienced quite differently at this time of year. The inn was still closed. Bus stop in front of the campsite, train station with P&R not far away. So you don't need a car to discover Regensburg and the surrounding area. This was not the last time we were here and we will take more time for our next visit.

"Short vacation at the end of the vacation - Quick registration, free choice of pitch on the large meadow, well-kept pitch, restaurant on site (we were not guests, but must be good, as it is fully booked every evening). The sanitary buildings could be cleaned more, even if the campsite is less busy. Otherwise everything is sufficiently available, from showers and toilets to washing-up facilities.

"Okay for an overnight stay - We were only at the Cpl. Hartlmühle for an overnight stay. The approach is via a bridge. At the end of the bridge there is a sign for registration, but there is a no stopping zone. The campsite is on the right. It is not mentioned anywhere that you have to drive up to the yard. After registering, you drive around the courtyard and then enter the campsite through a barrier. When we registered at the restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly member of staff. She asked us for a deposit of €50.00 when we handed over the barrier chip. We have never experienced this at a campsite before. Previously, €20.00 was the highest. I told her that I didn't have €50.00 in my pocket. She was then satisfied with a DCC camping card after comparing it with my ID card. I've never experienced this on a campsite before. We were able to choose our own pitch on a grassy area, with the advice not to take up too much space. The campsite was also occupied by "traveling people" at this time. We ate there. The price/performance ratio was okay! However, if we had known that the owners let their dogs run free in the restaurant or kitchen (as well as on the campsite) we would not have visited the place. The overnight price of €24.00 for 2 adults with car/caravan and free use of the small but nice swimming pool is fine. Showers were also included. It is a shower room with partitions, but not equipped with curtains etc. We didn't mind. It didn't bother us, but no longer fits in with modern times. Too bad, more could be made of the campsite.

Profile

Auf dem ganzjährig geöffneten Campingplatz Hartlmühle in Laaber stehen Sommer- und Dauercampern über 180 Stellplätze zur Verfügung. Im 1993 erbauten Hauptgebäude sind unter anderem die zum Teil behindertengerecht ausgestatteten Sanitäranlagen untergebracht. Neben den Duschen, WCs und Waschbecken befinden sich hier …auch Wickelgelegenheiten, eine Waschmaschine, ein Wäschetrockner sowie Spülräume. Auch auf ein attraktives Verpflegungsangebot müssen die Gäste des Campingplatzes nicht verzichten: Während Selbstversorger im Kiosk täglich frische Brötchen erhalten, wartet der Landgasthof, der auch eine sonnige Terrasse besitzt, mit einer abwechslungsreichen Karte auf. Erholsame Urlaubstage versprechen darüber hinaus die großzügige Liegewiese sowie das 30 Quadratmeter große Schwimmbecken und ein Kinderspielplatz. Abends folgt dann nicht selten ein geselliges Zusammensein an einem der Grillplätze. Für eine noch abwechslungsreichere Urlaubsgestaltung steht eine Vielzahl an attraktiven Ausflugszielen in der näheren Umgebung bereit: So liegt beispielsweise die wunderschöne mittelalterliche Altstadt von Regensburg nur 15 Kilometer entfernt. Aber auch das Altmühltal oder Nürnberg sind rasch erreicht.
