"A small, well-kept but noisy place. The owner speaks German - The site is easy to get to, is clean and by Romanian standards the sanitary facilities are fully in order. The owner is German and very friendly.

"Roadside camping - If you need peace and quiet at night, you should definitely avoid this campsite as it is too loud, even by Romanian standards, with dogs barking everywhere. You sleep right next to the road, shielded only by a building that barely absorbs the traffic noise. At around €11 for a tent, motorcycle and one person, it's twice as expensive as the other campsites I've stayed at.

"Stopover - Located somewhat unfavorably directly on the main road, unfavorable because the campsite sign is kept quite modest. Great for 1 night or a few days if you want to explore the surrounding area. Top friendly host (German) with whom you like to drink a beer. Unfortunately I could not try the culinary offers because the cook (wife) was not there. Some complain: yapping dogs....sorry I didn't hear any, nor did I feel disturbed by the street noise. The building shields noise well, but the people from next to the property were quite loud in the middle of the night, which is not the campsite operator's fault. All in all, a well located stopover for RO - GR drivers.

"A good and clean place to stay with partly noisy surroundings - On the way between Romania and Bulgaria, a suitable place to spend the night with clean sanitary facilities. The friendly operators speak German and offer an extensive menu. Unfortunately, the site is located directly on the national road, which is used by transit traffic. The railroad line on the other side of the road is used, but not frequently. We were there at the end of June during a heatwave and felt very comfortable. The food was great and the clean sanitary facilities would certainly persuade us to stop there again.

"A good place for the Iron Gate - German operator who is very friendly and helpful. Sanitary facilities are kept clean, but should be renovated next time. The wife of the operator cooks at a top level, which we gladly accepted.

" - Small and well-kept staging area. Good and clean sanitary facilities with non-stop hot water. Arrangement of motorboat trips on the Danube including transport to and from the campsite, excursion and hiking program on offer. The restaurant at the campsite deserves top marks. The site is not quiet due to its location on the E70. Nevertheless, we felt comfortable there.
